I don't know about y'all, but I find it funny how they describe the teams in the NFC South. A lot of weird words to try to justify where they ranked them, I think missing the mark by a lot:
26) New Orleans Saints. Addressed offensive speed and tried to balance the trenches, but the draft didn’t give them enough high-end stabilizers to raise the weekly floor – still too dependent on everything going right.
23) Atlanta Falcons. Found some utility, but didn’t meaningfully change the franchise direction – this was more fill cracks than build a contender.
22) Carolina Panthers. Invested in the trenches, which is the correct move. But didn’t add enough immediate difference-makers to change outcomes in 2026. Tough doesn’t automatically mean good.
20) Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Cleanly addressed pressure and second-level speed, which actually matters in 2026. The draft made them harder to play against for sure.
I guess our draft didn't make us harder to play against? Nobody is going to contribute? Investing in the trenches is the correct move for Carolina, but not us? And what the hell does it mean to fill cracks, but not build a contender?
This is perhaps the dumbest article I've read since the season ended.

Have a badass QB on a rookie contract with an innovator, young head coach.
Its already going right.

When the best team in the division is ranked 20th, they must be predicting an 8-9 divisional champion.

I think the saints can very well win the south this season. I also think we’re a 9-10 win team. Tyson is a better wr than Olave day 1 imo but they’re both great and will complement each other well. I also am eager to see what kinda role Bryce lance will carve out in the offense. Vele is also a solid player and who knows what we will get outta Polk and Palmer. I’m excited to see what the offense looks like. Delp could really push for consistent snaps also. I think he becomes a much more productive pass catcher with the saints than how he was utilized in Georgia.
Defensively we certainly have some question marks but I think we will be fine overall. Secondary could have used a little help in the draft but i still think the draft as a whole was great. Tj hall may end up being another huge steal. He’s such a good scheme fit it seems. He’s gonna thrive in zone coverage and is a plus tackler. Linebacker should be very solid. If Chase young continues to ascend with the saints and if we can bust out and get some of Tyree Wilson’s potential unlocked this defense could be sneaky great.
Still a lot more questions than answers at this point of the season defensively but I think the offense is going to be SIGNIFICANTLY better.
I had zero expectations or excitement for the saints going into last year but I’m really pumped for this year. We really need Shough to keep it rolling and if he continues to get better the sky is the limit.
