Lattimore, Crawley, and Williams all posted below 45 grades...extremely disappointing from guys we were counting on.
It wasn’t blown coverages. Drinking their own kool aid? Bad coaching? Lazy in the offseason? All of the above? We’re cooked if that group is gonna continue to be anything like it was on Sunday.
Teo with an elite above 90 grade. Bravo. Great signing. He has been fantastic for us. Stepped up in playoffs last season too. Coaches really need to play the guys that have earned it and not the paid guys. I don’t know if they even know the difference.
Cam Jordan extremely disappointing mid 60s grade. Entire d line was a failure. Obviously, we need him to be big time. Surprisingly, Okafor had best D line grade. Green. P Rob had best CB grade. Green.
I’ll post more if y’all got questions. Not posting images.
Brees is and will always be the GOAT. 95.9 grade. It’s a damn shame.

What was Davenport’s grade?

67.3 which is now a slightly green grade.

Sheldon Rankins buzz every year is annoying. He continues to do nothing. After week 1, not a whole lot going on in the interior d line. You can see why the team went after Suh.

Yup, everyone was pumping him up in training camp

Saw those grades and shook my head and decided not to post and depress a larger audience.

Rankins is the new Ellis. Damn shame

Yeah onyamata has outplayed rankins for the past 2 years and it isnt even close.
Cam jordan looked a little slow to me on sunday. Should of gotten some pre season snaps. Cam is a beast but i only saw him get 1 or 2 pressures the entire day.
What was liRebeus s grade

Because the entire dline played like arse, my thought is that the line did not prepare very well. Something they did as a group was shitty. Cam Jordan has never been one to not play hard, so it's shocking, and telling, that his grade is also low. Perhaps now that they got bitch slapped they will wake up. Perhaps they were drinking their own koolaid and underprepared.

He's our best LB that isn't on the field enough. Really he was the only bright spot on Sunday. Davenport had some nice plays as well for his first game.

Davenport graded 54.9 per PFF's 32 first rounders grades. Bradley Chubb posted a 67.4

Do y'all think rashard Lawrence projects as a DT or DE? I'd like to target him in the draft. I think he can play both. We are in dire need of a big presence in the middle.

Sheldon Rankins said basically there was confusion and bad execution on stunts and other things they worked on for the game. That's a little concerning if the entire unit was confused on what their responsibilities were throughout the whole game. It's fixable but there's no excuse to be that unprepared mentally in the first regular season game against a division rival.

Rankins said guys weren't on the same page with things like defensive line stunts, for example. He said it was surprising to have those errors, but they were all fixable.

Would love to be a fly on the wall for private conversations between CSP, Allen, and Brees this week.

Surprisingly, Okafor had best D line grade

i'm a huge Te'o supporter, and have been since he came into the fold, but his below average coverage skills are what keeps him off the field.... he's a stud on running down/blitz packages.... he just can't stay with guys in coverage... but that notwithstanding, he should still be starting at MLB... Robertson to SLB, and keep Davis at WLB

I don't remember him doing anything
and he got the highest grade, so what does that tell you about what the other guys, including our perennial pro-bowl DE, contributed?

Not what it says on the grade page. Don’t know what the disconnect is there. Maybe they’ve updated the grades page with more game reviews.
