I’ve not been following preseason very closely.
Is Hurst Peat McCoy Ruiz Ram healthy and ready to open the year? If so I think that will be fine so long as those 5 are healthy.

I realize surgery is not good, but any chance this is somehow better than turf toe? I mean as far as not lingering after he recovers. Excuse my lack of medical knowledge.

Here we go again.
Man we better not have the same rotten luck with injuries on the Oline again.
Hopefully nothing close to the extent we did last year.

I believe it’s a much clearer path to recovery. Turf toe can have a wild range of recovery times. Surgery and then rehab is usually a pretty clear timeline.

So disappointing for him but hopefully it means a better recovery and him coming back sometime this year.
Saints technically have their starting O line in tact but we are razor thin at OT. This isn’t good and I expect to see us trade a draft pick soon for a solid backup.
Or maybe even beg Whitworth to not retire

Maybe they can do some PRP injections and speed up the recovery process.

I choose to believe that he wasn’t going to play for a while anyway. It probably isn’t true but it makes me feel better.

Out for the season then. He won’t play any significant snaps so don’t delude yourselves counting weeks

He’s done for the year. Now we will see how the team feels about it’s in house backup tackle options. If Hurst goes down too we will be in deep shite. Eric Fisher is still out there but I doubt he’d sign to be a backup.

There wasn't much to see.
The First unit (for the most part) working with Winston looked really sharp. They looked good with the Red rocket also but I think he got 3 total drives and Winston got a single drive. Book looked ROUGH the first two games, I didn't watch him play in game 3 but his stat line looked better.
