It came right up to the 21-day deadline... but after practicing for the last few weeks Turner will finally be activated from injured reserve back to the active roster... as reported by Saints sideline reporter Jeff Nowak.
Basically the Saints had to make the decision today... activate him or have his season end
He's been battling back from a severe case of turf toe

Only Lonnie Johnson & Landon Young are definitely out Sunday

I wouldn't assume he's playing.
They were out of time. This could be a "give him another week or two on the small chance of the Saints making the playoffs" move. There's no cost if there's room on the 53.
