Loomis forced us to take the guy that no one wanted. Hope Moore comes in and shocks the league but even then Loomis will look like a genius while backing into this hire…

Wanted Brady but this hire has rapidly grown on me. I love the fact he was a great QB himself and where that's going to go with our QB's.
I'd perhaps grade him higher but lacks HC experience

Expecting great thing from Alvin, Spencer, and the Swiss Army Knife!

7. I'm hopeful that while we are in a rebuild, he cuts his teeth as a HC given his situation.

I've come around on the idea that you need to hire an offensive minded coach.

There was really only one defensive coach that I wanted and I knew those were terribly long odds that we'd get him and that was Mike Vrabel.

7 but could be even better. Depends how much control he really has over the players and contracts. But it's a breath of fresh air to see the Payton era finally over as far as coaches go.

I always feel differently about NFL hires than college ones. College just feels like you're so far set back if you miss but if it goes bad in the league, just fire the guy. Guys get fired so much in the NFL it's become a running joke. But perhaps, you've just landed the next offensive whiz kid that'll be a cornerstone of your franchise. You'll likely suck this year regardless and then you could have pretty deep QB draft to pick your next franchise guy from with a young offensive mind at the helm and a much better cap situation. Considering where this franchise is right now, it could be much worse of an outlook. 7-8ish.

In Saints history that translates to a got dam home run. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the staff.

If the nfl coaching carousel started the Monday after the Super Bowl, Moore would be option 1 across the league.

7 and above. There are unknowns with him since he never was a HC before. He has proven to lead good offenses. Let's hope he can put together a great staff and instill a winning culture.

Payton was an unknown at the time. NO was a mess. The draft helped along with getting the QB that could run his system. Moore may not be able to get his QB this year but next year I think he will be able to get the QB he wants.
