Another half arse effort, he makes that catch and it’s our ball first down with 3 min left and the jaguars probably don’t get that last TD and give our punter another chance for a shitty punt. I realize it was a little behind him but if we gonna chastise Moreau for missing one hitting both his hands the same thing happened on that play. I knew then we were gonna lose after seeing the effort given on that play. Blame the kicker blame Moreau but Olave loafing was just as detrimental to us winning the game

its like that every game, all the WR are half assing with little to no effort, because they plays the run are total shite with no chance of success

His effort isn't anywhere close to Thomas or Shaheed.

I mean Shaheed is giving full effort but running wrong routes at times. Thomas honestly has been the most consistent but hes also an all pro vet whos been in this system forever.

Shaheed went up and brought down that catch in the back of the end zone one handed but didn't get two feet. Olave had a pass in the red zone that was off target so he didn't even put his fricking hands out to catch it.

At least Moreau looks like he genuinely cares, I feel sorry for him in this video you can tell he’s very disappointed

Was that even catchable for randy moss? I mean what are we expecting Olave to do here. Keep making insane catches for a qb who is completely missing him? Some of Carrs passes to him are not remotely close. Last night Carr threw behind Olave several times on simple routes.

A lot of people owe Michael Thomas an apology

I expect NFL receivers to catch balls that hit them in both hands.

When did that happen with Olave? Majority of the passes are not even near him or behind him on several simple routes.

Do you expect your multi million dollar qb to also throw accurate passes and make the correct reads?

Not talking about the one on the sideline that he quit on the route but it was out of bounds anyway.

Attempt to make a catch. The one the Op is referencing was behind him cause Carr got hit on the throw but it hit Olave in the hands. Adjust and catch it.

It’s odd because Michael Thomas seems 100% engaged and dialed in and Olave is sleep walking through games with Michael Thomas diva type shite.

MT has always been 100% engaged and locked in.

Too many people took the frustration of him being out and twisted it into him being a soft diva. He had serious injuries and it took time to get right. He’s a savage.

Oh so you just want him to try to jump or put his hands out on a badly thrown ball that nobody can catch so we can say oh hes at least trying?

How about we talk about why Carr is throwing such shitty passes to begin with? Personally, I think Olave isn’t completely blameless but hes getting a lot of flak for Carr’s shitty play.

The throw I'm talking about was totally catchable.

That is getting PLENTY of talking. That's no excuse for Olave halfassing it.

When I saw the pass I didn't think it was really catchable, but the problem is the attitude and lack of effort on other players doesn't afford Olave the benefit of the doubt when he lets a ball go by that appears close.

Sadly, when the play was live my first thought was wondering if he pulled up on the route earlier, saw the ball coming, then tried to catch back up making it appear to be a bad throw. Carr's accuracy is not the best, but the way Olave has been playing this year he sort of loses the benefit of the doubt in a lot of those situations.

You can say this again. He's had the injury bug which has put him on the sidelines. Olave is actually showing what a diva is while Michael Thomas is putting it all on the field

You’re actually supporting and advocating for a receiver to not even try and catch passes.

Good God man.

Who is the only offensive player we’ve seen Carr go after? It’s Olave.

Probably just a coincidence though right?

To me I’m going to be real- there was probably several times a guy like Ted Ginn or others in the past on this team did what Olave is doing. The difference was Brees would throw it elsewhere, not throw a sideline tantrum on the WR and even protect the WR if he was getting flak in the public about half assing it. Instead Carr isn’t doing any of that and letting Olave shoulder a lot if the blame. Its bad QBing, playcalling, and culture. Should Olave be doing that? No. Does it happen a lot on a lot of teams? Absolutely. Again difference is Olave is being hung out to dry here. Hes a second year WR and Carr is a seasoned vet. Carr needs to be better and work with Olave and defend him in public.
