That pass was extremely behind him. Like ridiculously behind. Hes trying to catch a pass thats behind him and he doesn’t so we blame Olave and not Carr. If Jameis threw that same pass- we would all blame Jameis. I have no idea why we give a pass to Carr on a horrible throw and blame Olave.

Carr was hit in the process of the pass. Herbstreit even commented on it and how Olave has to help his QB out and make the difficult catch.

Not just last night. He was quitting routes on Sunday against the Texans too.

His effort has been garbage since his 1 reception game against the Bucs.

ETA: This is hardly the first time a player, especially a WR, has done this. Diva Receiver is a thing for a reason.

Then why is he playing? If his effort is that bad every game as everyone says, why is he playing? Again, seems like DA doesn’t care. Players effort reflect coaches. We can shite on Olave all we want, but if his head coach isn’t saying or doing anything in regards to his effort, who’s really to blame?? Again the culture on this team is absolute shite. I say this because again Olave not showing full effort to me honestly isn’t the biggest problem and is deflecting from the complete lack of accountability and leadership on this team.

I can agree with all of that, I always believed a team is a direct reflection of their head coach

I swear man it doesn’t matter the excuses will come, you guys will see as this season progresses all this shite is on Carr. I advocated for him myself, hoping he would change from last season. Its the same garbage he did last season even with the leagues best WR in Davante Adams. Does Olave not go 100 percent on every pass? Yes. But has Carr been horrible with his accuracy, reads and profession? Absolutely. But now we’re expecting a second year WR to continously make crazy difficult catches to bail out Carr. That’s absolute bullshite.

All of it? Not hardly.

Catching a ball slightly behind you is not “crazy difficult”.

When I mean All- I mean the inaccurate passes and miscommunication issues.

When you’re running in full speed it absolutely is.

Devante Adams with Carr (15 games)

5.9 Rec per game
86.2 YPG
12 TDs

Without Carr (8 games):

6.4 rec per game
86.8 YPG
3 TDs

I don’t even think Carr has been good. I just know that the offense has been absolute garbage since week 9 of last season. That doesn’t fall squarely on Carr.

Great did Carr still suck with Davante Adams and was benched??? So basically it didn’t matter what Davante did, Carr still sucked and was benched right?

I could pull out stats and show you Carrs win loss record, his overall stats, and exactly the date he was benched as well.

Yes lot of it is on Carmichael too but Carr is responsible as well. Bad qb play leads to bad offense as well.

Was that even catchable for randy moss? I mean what are we expecting Olave to do here.
Huh? Are we talking about the one slightly behind him? That is pretty routine. Most NFL recievers catch that kind of pass the majority of the time.

I wasn’t talking about that pass. But the one behind him when your running full speed is not a routine catch. My aggravation is we’re blaming Olave more than Carr on things like this which is just ridiculous.

If he sucked, and they’re worse without him, what does that says about McDaniels and the Raiders?

Not talking about the one on the sideline that he quit on the route but it was out of bounds anyway.
Even that one though. It landed out of bounds, but he completely quit on the route and made it look overthrown. He really is not engaged. It is a huge problem and needs to be corrected ASAP or we need to see what we can salvage. This is getting worse than the Cooks situation much earlier.

That they suck too just like this coaching staff but that doesn’t mean Carr is blameless for his play with both the Raiders and the Saints.

This coaching staff won’t do anything.

Not a single person has said Carr is blameless.

We’ve seen 3 veteran, former starting QBs under the Allen/Carmichael duo. All of them have been awful.

Carr is just the latest in the trend.

“If he sucked, and they’re worse without him, what does that says about McDaniels and the Raiders?”

- then what is the point of this statement if you’re not implying Carr is blameless. You know why these coaches suck- because partly they have bad qbs which includes Carr. Its like you’re trying to deflect blame on Carr because the coaches hes under arent great. Personally, a good QB can make bad coaches look good- obviously Carr can’t do that.
