NFLN called Saldiveri a prototypical Saints pick... a OL who can play multiple positions along the line

make sure we can protect our new QB

I mean they're REALLY good at drafting.

They took a step back when they stupidly gave all the power to Chip Kelly, but Roseman has flexed since then over and over.

NFL OL aren’t 340 lbs lard asses. They need to be able to move. Ramczyk is 315 at 6’6. 318 is just fine

Saldiveri has the flexibility to play guard. Team gets someone in the pipeline who could develop with both guards in the last year of their contracts (Ruiz has a fifth-year option decision coming)

Katherine Terrell @Kat_Terrell
Random note from the school website: He became the first offensive lineman in ODU history to score a touchdown when he recovered a fumble in the bowl-eligibility clinching win over Charlotte

#Saints pick OL Nick Saldiveri also helped pave the way for RB Blake Watson to set ODU’s single game rushing record with 259 yards and three touchdowns at Coastal Carolina in 2022

69th highest RAS for OT since 1987. Nice

Brandon Thorn (OL guru) loves him as do many others who I consider in the know

Saldiveri (6-6, 318) primarily played RT at Old Dominion, but he definitely has the potential to move inside to guard if that’s the Saints’ vision for him. And as we’ve said, that’s a long-term need with both Andrus Peat and Cesar Ruiz heading into final year of their deals.

Lol are they? They’re just drafting all Georgia players. Haven’t we learned this through the years with Bama and Ohio state?

Some are great pros but a lot end up busts or mediocre. Philly is picking a bunch of guys who looked great while in the Kirby smart machine playing Missouri and Kentucky every week.

It’s easy to look really good when all ten of your teammates are elite compared to the offense and your coach is way better than their coach.
