That's a communication issue between the DE and the LB/S on that side. If the DE crashes, the other guy has to cover the QB option on that.

Refs blew the call where Harper got held. Still we can't give up 2 big plays like we did. Such a leaky defense, give up big play after big play.

And that's the worry I had with a crew that called very few defensive secondary penalties in a game that involved SEA. Screams a "well let them play physically" type of crew, playing perfectly into SF's wheelhouse.

Harper looked to be in the spot to contain since Smith crashed, but he got held like a motherfricker and kaepernick got around him
