Saints really taking their time landing an OC. Have already contacted 11 candidates while 3 of those have already found jobs elsewhere.

Yep. Mickey told you they were going to make the right hire, not the fast hire.

“After an extensive search blah blah blah… we knew the right guy was always in the building blah blah blah…”
Congrats on the OC job, Curry.

What are you guys going to complain about when it's not Curry?
Oh never mind, yall will complain about whoever is hired.

Maybe, the fan base, is tired of being addressed by Loomis in a condescending manner concerning season tickets, personnel moves, and other Saints news originating from his lord and master’s untouchable potentate.

I’ll be fine with Curry. Either he is exactly what the Saints should be looking for (a young coordinator that is on the rise) or he’s not and they can clean the whole house next offseason.
Win win.
Win win.

I feel that way about the OC hire in general. It’ll either work and it’s cool or it won’t and it’s cool.

And there are 3 or 4 candidates that are busy preparing for the biggest game of the season. Even if they wanted to hire any of them, they would need to wait until the SB is played. Hell, sometimes these candidates will even refuse in person interviews, may still do phone/video interviews, to not distract them from their prep.

True dat. Maybe staff from one of Super Bowl teams is on the radar.

They’ve requested/had/scheduled second interviews with four people. Three have taken other jobs or pulled their name out of consideration. The other is a guy the Bears recently fired.

They're stalling. Waiting until after the Super Bowl.

Why so angry? I’m confused what did he state that was wrong?

It’s going to be curry because no one outside the organization will accept the position only to be fired next year

And that could be the case and how it ultimately plays out; but if that is true then why do these coordinators take positions with other teams looking at the same fate? Eberflus has a winning percentage that is worse than DA's, but he was able to land the top OC on the market in Waldron and another highly respected OC in Thomas Brown to be the passing game coordinator.

First they’re getting Caleb Williams- which is very alluring for a lot of coaches. For instance, they could become like the Texans coaching staff with Stroud this year.
Second he might just have better personal relationships and connections.

No one wants it, well not anyone of any repute, because it’s a dead end with a lame duck coach. Given our cap situation and performance, DA is likely gone sooner than later.
