Pass block win rate is super flawed. It only counts players blocked.

If a guy gets to the quarterback untouched it doesn’t count against pbwr, I believe.

Carr takes a lot of silly sacks and holds the ball too long. Not every sack is on him but a lot of the sacks are on him as well.

Not sure you watch the games. Until peat took over at LT, Carr was getting murdered back there

Carmichael/Payton offensive systems have always been OL friendly.

They don’t. These are the lowest of the low when it comes to intellectual ability—they simply have an agenda and want a scapegoat

Seeing the Chiefs and Saints in the top 5 makes this stat very sketchy

Now do run block win rate. O-line is junk.

Carr is only pressured 14.7% of the time

There are 28 QBs pressured at a higher clip

Exactly. If you just watch Carr play, there are several plays every game where you can see him holding the ball too long. The reason Brees had a great oline was also due to Brees getting the ball out quicker and making quick decisions. Carr struggles with this.

Excellent point, how many times did we watch get hit (wether just a hit or sack) and there was a lineman right next to the path blocking nobody.

Definitely a match made in hell. Have plays where D players have a clear path unblocked, plays where Carr looks like he thinks it’s 7-on-7 and just hangs out, and plays where he panics and goes check down way too early.

There are several things Carr has lacked this year, but to me the two biggest are his lack of leadership and his inability to throw with anticipation. He rarely, if ever, throws anyone open. The anti-Drew in regards to both those factors.

I would also guess that Brees' fast release probably minimized potential injuries on the O line.

During Brees' prime, he had a very stable line with less injuries to his line that would cause them to miss multiple games.

You can look at all that charts and graphs you want but if you look at the NFL football game you can tell that Saints O-Line was terrible at not only pass protection but run blocking as well.

The fact that Anders Peat was the best O-lineman not named Erik McCoy should tell you something.

Interior line has whiffed on plenty of blocks giving up quick sacks, Ruiz McCoy and Hurst.
