That would be a big improvement but I am not holding my breath.

Stern probably was the best commissioner ever in professional sports. I suspect he’s happy kicking back and tending to his investments these days.

I feel like commish of the NBA is a better gig than commish of the NFL - especially if you're a liberal like Silver is.

If anything he should use this to get a huge raise from the NBA.

The NFL would be buying a shite sandwich with peanut butter on it instead of a plain old shite sandwich.

We need 40-year-old David Stern, apparently the dude is still active in business at his advanced age but, for that age element, I don't expect him to be a candidate but would welcome it if offered. If Silver has any faults, it's he's way too inconsistent and selective in enforcing rules regarding tanking and tampering, dude's great with the players and owners and gained a ton of respect with his stance to that shite-stain Sterling. Would be interesting.

Was just thinking about how awesome it would be if this happened. Legit didn't know this was a real possibility until I opened this thread.

Also, something for Gary Cavaletto to think about... LINK

The phone call to Mayo Shattuck to replace Goodell as the next NFL Commissioner has already happened I'm told. Shattuck was the runner up last go around.
