I remember when Cam Ward was the only QB worth drafting and teams should tank for 1 of 3 or 4 much better QBs in this draft…and Mendoza wasn’t one of them

There is no guarantee of where the Saints will be picking in next year's draft.
A move up from 8 into the top 3, 4, 5, would be less "costly" than a move up from 13, 14, 15+.
