I’m not bashing the mans draft by any means. It’s impossible to predict trades etc especially later in the mid to late rounds of the draft. If they don’t trade up early i expect them to package 4&5 and a pick next year to get back in the third. If not the 2nd.

Love Simpson at 3
Only one I would want to get later on is Bailey LB in the 4th as I don't think the Saints want to draft another one that high with injury history.

Thru 14 drafts with Payton, they’ve taken one 1st round LB & he’s bombed. That sweet spot has been about pick 75-115.
Id love Queen or Baun. I’m not ruling it out. Just using law of averages.
Queen is my LB1.
Gladney is my CB1 in that range.

They’ve met with Gladney. He’s a possible surprise pick.
I think it’s very possible we wait for Harrison or Wilson in the third. Could take Gladney or Johnson in the first, trade up early third or early second for a WR

That’s why I like Gladney. He’s a dog, he’s feisty, will get after it, good ball skills. Border corner or slot, can play either

I think people underestimate just what good number 2 corner can do for a defense. If Gladney could take over and be that for us, that gives us one of the deepest secondaries in the league.

Bleacher and CBS mocked John Simmons in the 2nd. Sports illustrated mocked him in the 3rd.
Deejay Dallas is a late riser and will probably be drafted somewhere on day 3. I have seen a mock with him going in the 4th and another at 6th.
There is no telling where either of these guys will go. Will depend on how teams value them.

These mocks are all over the place and are likely all wrong. No one has any idea, outside of the top 10 picks, where any of these guys will go

Really like Simpson in round 2.
People will crucify any mock that doesn't involve the entire LSU defense from 2011-2020 in the later rounds, but the reality is we are likely to get 2-4 players who will make the roster, at most. Your later round picks should be the guys with the highest upside

Like this draft a lot too. Really not a big fan of Queen or Murray at 24, just think their impact would be marginal at best in 2020 but the depth of this mock is fantastic. Thanks for posting
