The fact that Drew isnt our QB coach and Colston isnt on the WR staff always kind of surprised me. Especially once Drew realized broadcasting wasnt that easy.

There is a significant difference between trolling and a large group of people earnestly watching 4 weeks of Trevor S and still sincerely saying he should be the starter over Taysom Hill. Those 4 weeks were a braindead debacle for both this board and for the franchise.
The only point I’m truly making with the post above is that Morstead is an available for a reason. As bad as Blake G has been, he’s still been better than Tommy for 2 years now. So bringing back the guy you cut 2 years ago, Bc he couldn’t outperform the guy you just cut this year, would be an all time bad move. I get he’s a likable dude, but playing nice, washed players is not the way you win football games otherwise John Carney would still be our field goal kicker.

There is a reason why teams occasionally spend 5th rd picks on Punters. It’s an important position on Sunday’s. A good Vs bad punter can provide a 2-3 game swing in a season and/or swing a win or go home playoff game.
That’s why it’s not smart to bring a guy back just bc it has a nice sentimental vibe to it.
We need to strive for more as a fanbase and an organization. If we don’t, it ends up like last season. Being the worst team, in quite possibly the worst, 4 team division of all time. Capped off by losing in the dome to Sam Darnold, who threw for 16 yards.
