Like the guy and everything he’s done for the organization but I’m not sure he should be thrown in to play-by-play.
Put him at sideline reporter and go with either Hoss or Sean Kelley

Underhill seems to know what's up, generally. If he's staked his balls to this, which he has done with the article... I'd say it's probably 90 percent chance it's Zach.

Everyone is going to long for Henderson regardless of who is pick. However, if I'm Deuce, I don't know if I really want Strief, because for this particular team, who would be a better analyst than Strief? I'd imagine at least 75% of the time Strief is going to know what play is coming before it happens. As the pbp guy, does he usurp Deuce's role? Deuce is fine and knows the game, but he doesn't and can't know this team as well as Strief.

That’s a short term issue for Deuce. 3-4 years down the road, Strief won’t know anymore about the team than Deuce will.

Doesn’t he have a communications degree from Northwestern? Coupled with his playing experience, on paper he might have the most impressive resume a Saints PbP guy has ever had.

I hope he gets a chance. A few years back had an opportunity to spend a few hours with him and his wife after a game (it was a charity package deal). Very good people. He is smart and I think he will do well after the initial growing pains that anyone would have.

Sean Kelley doing PBP & Strief on color would be an excellent team. Strief doing PBP almost immediately after retiring just seems off.
let the pre/post game shows be Garic/Bobby/Deuce. it'll suck, but it's gonna suck with any combination of Garic and Bobby involved so whatever.

Think I saw that the Raiders added Brent Musburger as their radio announcer. Not that I would want him, but wonder why Saints are not looking outside of their own backyard.
