Man this board is pathetic. Guy gets hurt rehabbing and everyone thinks he just quit lol

We'll have to wait and see until the NFL's 2022 season to get more facts. Right now, the facts don't rule out that you could be right - maybe MT13 does indeed come back strong for the Saints in 2022. But, I humbly and respectfully disagree with your assessment.

frick this guy. He packed it in cuz Winston is hurt. I’d trade that cancer right now if I could. He changed the day he got paid.

Everyone is going to think he quit on the team because of what transpired the last several months and it’s more likely they’re right than wrong just based off that. But people also need to realize that because of his dead cap, he’s not going anywhere. The Saints will probably trade him in 2024 but he’s not going anywhere until then.

And who knows. If he bounces back and has good years next year and 2023, things will probably smooth over. I think MT13 haters and defenders can all admit this is beyond frustrating. NOLA fans will have your back through a lot of shite until it seems like you don’t want to be here. That’s the ultimate slap in the face to our fan base

At first I thought that would be sinister on MT's part, but it was probably a request by the Saints. If it came out that he was done before the deadline, all teams would up their asking price from the Saints.

Other team would have done a physical and voided the trade.

The biggest problem is not even this news - why did he wait until a few weeks before preseason to get surgery? It just screams Scottie Pippen level of entitled selfishness.

They mean for other WR’s we would be trying to trade for. If a team knows Thomas is done, their price for one of their WR’s just went up

Nick Underhill reporting it’s a new injury on top of the surgery

People are so quick to hate.

His ankle was completely fukked up. Why would he risk injury the first time to come back for drew's last year?
