Yeah, it would strongly say "we don't have quite as many pass rushers as the Rams." The horror!

As far as athleticism goes, I would have said Michael Sam>>>a few players the saints started before.

Jason David. Aaron Brooks. Can name like ten more

Toi Cook, Chad Morton, Russel Erxleben, Shawn Knight, Jonathan Sullivan, Fred Thomas...

That's all I got for now.

I'd be for it. The dude is an NFL quality Dlineman, the Rams are just so deep already. I'm still surprised he was cut

Cowboys. They actually need him off the end. The jokes will write themselves too.

The Saints don't trot out 4 DL like Quinn, Brockers, Donald, and Long. Other than the Panthers, I don't know of another d line that is as stacked (Possibly the Lions). Sam was at the wrong place to crack the roster at his position.

His boyfriend wants him to join the cowboys so he will have some sexy new lines to use in the sack.

Someone on the MSB said the redskins should sign him. This would be a brilliant move for them.

No. He is a distraction. He can thank ESPN for that.

Along with NFLN. They were waiting with bated breath for the Rams decision.

While I think he did play OK, he is not good enough to justify the distraction.

He is a 4-3 DE. We run a 3-4 so NO.

I heard from an insider that he was doing a great job with penetration through the hole, but unfortunately he was filling in the wrong gaps.

He's not a bad player but would have to move to OLB for us more than likely. He can be a good pass rusher on a 4-3 defense in passing situations. Sam actually had a good preseason and I'm surprised nobody picked him up for PS. Like another poster said, for PR, he would be a great pickup for Redskins, but iirc they run a 3-4.
