Metcalf to New Orleans

Living here in western WA, I’m hearing some serious rumors about DK not being happy with Seattle letting Russ go. And seeing the success many pass catchers have had in New Orleans, that he is really wanting to pursue a trade to The Saints. He would be a HUGE pick up for you guys.

DK is a stud and would be an insane threat to have in an offense with Thomas and Kamara in the passing game
however he is in the last year of his rookie deal
the franchise tag for Adams was over 20 million and will be higher next year
I dont think we are in the market for one year win now rentals...we dont even have a QB at the moment
not including trade costs to acquire him...minimum of a 1st with a significant additional pick thrown in...also thinking minimum of another 3rd
even if he had interest in coming here...I doubt he does without Sean and without a QB on the roster worth his services...Saints should have no interest in making a move like that right now

Hes basically a BiG clear out Flanker. Big guy for go routes and shot plays. Winston best play making trait is verticle arm talent. Those two probably make some plays

2) I don’t like Metcalf, but the possibility of Winston throwing deep fades to Metcalf is extremely tantalizing. I wouldn’t overpay in draft collateral though because he would likely be a one year rental who would come here to put up big numbers then get paid next year.
What would he cost? Last year Julio Jones cost a 2nd and 3rd. It’s different, but Julio had a longer contract IIRC.
