There's this out there as well.
Jets GM gauging cost to trade up.

"We're going to reach out to every team ahead of us and gauge the value of what they're looking for in compensation to move up in the draft," he said. "That doesn't mean we're actually trying to go up necessarily and get a player but you hear what the market value is basically, and then what you do is see what unfolds with the first few picks and who is available. We'll have that discussion when we get to the draft -- if we want to move up in the draft.

Maccagnan also added that the Jets, like every other NFL team, have a trade value chart similar to the one Jimmy Johnson used in Dallas for The Trade. The interesting part is that he sent the chart to all 31 other teams so they have an idea of what he's thinking.

that's either brilliant (doubtful) or fairly retarded.

Rumor is the Bears would trade back for Cam Jordan with NO. They need an end and are willing to pay 7 mill with an extension but Loomis might have to sign him then trade? How this helps the Saints IDK except on the Salary Cap?

How about an offensive lineman?
I sure hope we draft one at #13

I'd be rather unhappy. Cam is a very well rounded defensive end, plays the run exceptionally well, but is a limited pass rusher. It's hard for me to trade him for someone (beasley) that could end up like Mingo, ziggy, Jordan, etc but has the potential to become Miller or Matthews.

Jeezus H. Christo. The draft can't get here fast enough. God damn it seems like it's been discussed forever and constantly. Just get it over with and draft fricking anyone to fill our choices.

I'm not against moving up but I do not want to move up for Beasley, especially not that much. I'd rather stay put and get Shelton, or if Chicago takes him at 7, Atl takes Beas, and Dupree falls to 13 then take him.
I like the second round. I doubt we trade back but if we can and still get Dorsett that'd be a bonus. I think I'd prefer to trade up for Kendricks though(or trade back from 13 if both WRs and both OT/OGs are gone. I really don't like any of the "edge" guys outside of Dupree and I still prefer someone like Kendricks over him.

Just seems practical with the limited time between picks. Would speed things up a bit.

Crazy? Like Philly moving up 18 spots?
What are they giving up?

I agree. No moving up and I'd actually move back into the mid 20's if one of these guys aren't there at 13:
Shelton - has some bad weight though
Cooper
White
Beasley
Sherff
Collins
Dupree - I'm not 100% sold on him though
We could take Kendricks with the pick we got in the mid 20's. We should also get a 2nd rounder with that. That would still leave us with pick 31, 2 2's, and 2 3's. Most teams will be reaching and taking position of need...while we could just sit back and wait for our targets to fall to us.

Exactly, it really does not need to be pushed out this far past the combine
