So that is how he went from just another average RB to the Pro Bowl?

He made the pro bowl 3 years prior to this past season. He’s probably been using it for a while now just like most all NFL players but finally slipped up somehow and got caught. You really have to be an idiot to get caught considering these players barely get tested.

Can we build a wall around tRant. Jesus Christ you people are stupid. I’ve lost IQ points reading this thread, and am ashamed to be part of the same fan base.

Ingram is easily the best or second best running back in Saints history, and you people want to cut him, which brings back no value, or trade him, which won’t return his worth, over a 4 game suspension? I guess none of y’all would take Leveon Bell then, and the Steelers are stupid for holding on to him. It’s 4 games for a banned substance, it could have been an honest mistake on a substance he thought/was told was legal.

Mark Ingram hasn’t been around the facility during conditioning and he won’t be around for OTAs, source says. This is also why New Orleans hasn’t shopped him. The looming suspension, which has been hanging over him for several weeks.

I’m not freaking out about this whole thing like some, but I am concerned that when he finally does come back he’s going to be unfit for duty and horribly out of shape. No OTA’s, no conditioning, etc because he knows he can’t play the first four? Is he prohibited from team activities? The 4 game SP may feel more like a 6 or 7 when it’s all done.

What you cant see is it is the system with Brees, not the back.

Now I'm 100% certain you don't watch football.

Payton's offense has been a detriment to RB's, not a help. Either not knowing how to use it or not using it enough, abandoning the run game for the pass really quickly.

And because of this, Ingram doesn't have the wear and tear that other #1 backs have had. We've run a "by committe" backfield for quite some time. He still has a few good years left in him.

Anyone who thinks that we can duplicate his production by plugging in any late round pick or UDFA is a moron. If we weren't going to pick up a back in the first 2 rounds, we weren't replacing him this year. Especially after last season.

The dude has been working his arse off in a lot of his posts. I thought he can participate in the off-season and play in pre season? Why would the saints not allow him to?

And for people whining about how screwed we are because of this, use your small minds to think back and remember that Tom Effin Brady was suspended the first 4 games of the 2016 season.........the season of 28-3.

To me it depends on how they treat this. If they treat him like an outcast and keep him away from the team all offseason then we have an issue. If he is allowed to be part of the team and is engaged then we are fine.

Is there any reason to believe this will happen?

Honest question, do we know ANY details about this failed test?

Follow him on Instagram, all he posts are his workouts, and they look extremely intense. Now the mental aspect I'm not sure if he is going to be up to date on, but I trust that he will do all he can to be 100% mentally and physically by week 5.
