Didn’t Bama have the most pro bowlers this past season? Just curious.

LSU (6) Bama (5) from what I remember...

I think The quality of NFL position coaching isn’t talked up enough.
They only have 1 job u like college position coaches who can make up for sub par coaching with elite recruiting.
Look at a guy like Danielle Hunter and how he flourished in the NFL and vice versa how he was just stunted in college.

Yeah, the same could be said for Aaron Glenn, too.
Not just for Lattimore’s emergence, which arguably could’ve happened regardless of the coach, but the fact that Crawley & Marcus Williams had big years make me think there’s something Glenn had a hand in all their success. However, one refutation would be that he failed to make DeVante Harris even serviceable.
Nielsen, Glenn, and Mike Nolan have all seemed to make a significant difference since they came aboard. I’m glad Curtis Johnson is back, too.

Sean Payton may have won brees a ring, but he sure as hell costed brees another with his bs position coaches.
Imagine if you had legit coaches on the D side of the ball in 2011.

He used to be a decent poster. I think the Super Bowl collapse did a number on his sanity and intelligence.

You're overthinking it. My post was like at 1:30am and I had a lot to drink. Simply trying to rustle. It's the offseason.
I have no clue how Davenport will do, none of us do. He sure is a big dude with the potential for a lot of upside. Gonna have to be coached up though.

He's gonna have to learn to use his hands a lot better. He has all the physical tools to be a superstar.
Are these things you read, or your own personal scouting take?

The great thing about his situation is that he can ease into that starting job as the season goes along. He can come in as a rotational/situational rusher at first but slowly get worked into the starting lineup. Hopefully be week 16, he's starting and is giving production. There's no reason this guy cannot be an absolute monster. He's got the teammates and coaches around him along with talent to be one of the best edge rushers in the league.

Bump
Much like Kamara getting limited snaps last year, the only thing holding Davenport back is Sean Payton.
