Nope. We just have to worry about Turner's availability now.

What was the bigger frick up? Wasting a million picks to draft Davenport or giving Project Peat a 5yr, $60M contract?

in regards to your question, I will go with Peat.

if i had my choice, I would go with hidden option C - giving you forum access

Peat. At least they appeared to have owned up to the Davenport mistake by letting him walk.

I fear that with the way they kept restructuring Peat they may be forced to extend him before the new year to avoid the ~$14M dead money hit.

Death, taxes, and Davenport being hurt.

Some things never change.

Peat by far...

Draft bust happen to everone in the league. Sometimes you get it wrong

Doubling down on the wrongness (peat) is far worse. Cut your loses before you make it worse

It’s true. The fans will flock here every sack he gets. But will disappear when he misses 3 game spurts.

..other than Cam Jordan, has this front office staff hit on any early round DL picks?

Cam wasn't a reach like the other 1st rounders and we didn't have to trade up to get him, either.

The board was not happy with the pick as I remember nor for his first couple of years. The word 'bust' was used several times

Peat easily. Davenport was a bust given the circumstances but showed flashes of the reasoning for his position.

Peat, drafted in a similar spot to Marcus, just straight up sucks and always has but still got
paid. He’s a liability when he’s playing and needs to be gone 5 years ago. One of the most frustrating Saints of all time.

Our desperation to win one more ring with Brees is why we still have Peat. Kc wanted him, but we couldn't afford a whole turnover on the OL
