It makes a lot of sense. I had heard that he did not want to play for the Saints given some connections to NOLA in his past, but it just makes a lot of sense at this point.
We should bring back PJ as well.

TM7 said otherwise on Culotta show yesterday. Basically saying that he never been in trouble that way and never run with that crowd that would be a issue. Of course he could be saying this just to act like he would come here but in reality he isn't even considering it.

I hope so. I have a feeling I know how this thread will go considering Jenkins the person, but Jenkins the football player is a pretty big loss.

Losing Williams and Jenkins in the same offseason is very much not ideal.
We now have giant gaping holes at Safety, Left Tackle, and Wide Receiver.
This offseason has been...tough.

People won’t like him due to politics but he put in a lot of good years with the Saints

Jesus Christ you people are pathetic. Malcolm Jenkins has been a great player on the field for the saints. Stop being a fricking baby. Imagine being so soft that you hate people because of their political views.

Yes he did. Great career, great Saint. Didn’t drop off much either, was still very solid in 2021.
Mathieu is a strong replacement and probably an upgrade at this point. Not dissimilar players, a lot of versatility. He is a must sign.
If we replace Williams/Jenkins with Maye/Mathieu, I’m fine with that.

I think this is what scared Saints brass in 2013 was potential for an issue. Tyrann needed to remove himself from any possible situation that could hinder his career and moving to Florida helped so much. He’s grown so much as a person and an athlete because he was able to do such.
