24. Saints Patrick Queen LB LSU Local Product w/ rare speed made some money in the CFB Playoffs. Learns under Demario Davis for a few Yrs before he becomes the leader on 2nd Level. Over past few Yrs, Saints have recognized speed at ILB is critical to their D.

Idk about taking him at 24, but wouldn’t mind us picking him in the 2nd or 3rd (if we still have those picks)

I agree. Too early. We have bigger needs on offense (OG, WR) that are a higher priority than taking a LB with our first.

Davis was fine. Anazolne would ok but for injuries

The Coverage backer and centerpiece we should hope for is the clemson kid but hell be gone. Oklahoma kid is good too

Might be too early to say it’s too early. He’ll probably put up stupid numbers at the combine, which could merit grabbing him that early. We’ll see how it plays out. Personally i’d prefer signing an LG in FA and grabbing a WR at 24, but the draft is so deep at receiver that a pick like Queen could be just what we need.

No. I like Queen, but we aren’t going LB at 24 when there will be some potentially game changing WRs still on the board.

No way do the saints take a LSU LB at 24. At least I would be shocked if they do.

I graduated from LSU but I’m not a “draft everyone LSU homer.”

But this year I’d draft an LSU player every round. Just a team made up of special players.

He's listed at 6'1" 227 lbs. With that and his speed he might be better served to play at SS rather than LB.

If we don't get a WR this year with our 1st or 2nd pick I'll be pissed.

He’s going top 2 rounds.

I think it’d be a great pick. With Alonzo and Anzalone both coming off injury who knows what they’ll look like.

Queen is a star in the making. He may be mocked in the 2nd-3rd right now, but after he kills the combine he’s going to climb draft boards. I would love to take him at #24. But you have to take a receiver in the 1st or 2nd.

It's like the Bigfoot position on the saints defense. It's never seen, no trace of existence..possibly some hair. I mean there is film of it, but is it really a LB? you cant really tell, but have your doubts.

So let's say one actually emerges. It would make a huge impact on how we see things.

Both Alonso and Anzalone are in the 6’3” 235 range. Queen is going to put on more weight once he gets into the league, and he already put on a good amount in college.

Im not a big homer for my team's players when it comes to the draft, but I would love for ya to get Willie gay in the 3-4th round, maybe even 5th. He's very athletic... I expect his stock to rise at combine
