We are like 1 for 7 in the 1st rd so I bet this will be our year!
Incorrect. Banks, Fuaga and Armstead have been good. Ruiz, Peat and Penning were bad. McCoy was a second, but he’s been good. Our OL picks have been above average. DE is where we have struck out the last decade.

So Slough is the Giants version of Daniel Jones & Derek Carr now?
Did you actually say that without realizing how good Daniel Jones was this year with a top ranked OL compared to playing on the Giants? JT/ Saquon would be a wash so what would be the difference then?

but Love seems like a game breaker at rb.
How so?
Against the only good competition he faced this year he ran for 33 and 94 yards.
Wy is everyone so high on a guy who was only effective against weak competition

Daniel Jones was the problem. No different than Sam Darold or Zach Wilson with the Jets. Young QBs who weren't ready to start but were forced to start anyway.

It seems like you are incapable of seeing that the Giants version of Daniel Jones & his poor play was on his own doing.

Shough is injured and out for six weeks because of all the hits he takes behind this line.
I guess you've never heard a free agency. I know it's a new concept.

He does this every year around draft discussions. It's always offensive lineman only with him.

See the free agent thread below. There aren’t many guards available in FA this offseason. We don’t have a lot money to spend in free agency, so we likely can’t find a good quality free agent guard we can afford.
Actually looking into things before talking smack is probably a new concept for you, but you should look into it.

To clarify: Daniels Jones and Sam Darnold, 2 QBs who have been top 15 QBs and found success with Sea/ IND are to blame for the failures of the NYJ/ NYG?
So Saquon and Breece Hall also get blame for the Giants/ Jets failures?
I know this is a troll because you can't possibly be that dumb.
You really just blamed (2) of (1,000) failed QBs for the lack of succes on the Giants and Jets. Wild.

YAC on check downs is very seldom discussed or analyzed but they are extremely important aspects of consistent offensive play. It's undervalued & underrated aspects that can be the difference of continuing a drive or a drive stalling.
Every saints fan that has watched Kamara should understand this.

I’d take a legit RB. Shough is the kind of QB, like Brees, that can make so so receivers look good.

We need to fix the line. That’s beyond debate.
But I’m fine taking Downs or Reese or a WR if one shows himself worthy. I do think we should prioritize protecting our QB, but we need a pass rusher, #1 WR and a NT. Those should be the priority over a RB.
We can agree to disagree on the best way to build a team.
1) I don’t know if Love is that generational RB.
2) RBs don’t provide the value other players do in the first because they have short playing careers. We have so many other needs that RB is more of a luxury at this point IMO.
3) I think protecting our QB is more important than getting playmakers (see the Bengals).
4) You can get Singleton or Price in a later round. We need other talent more than RB.
5) I’d prioritize OL, pass rusher, WR & CB over RB.
We can agree to disagree on how to build a team, Brod. You’ve laid out your reasons. I just don’t agree.
Others just calling people stupid and talking smack without laying out a well reasoned argument is infuriating.

It's hilarious that you believe that both QBs are the same players that they were with Jets & Giants & that just magically became better suddenly. If that was the case, why did Darold have to bounce around from 4 franchises before finding a home in Seattle? Matter of fact, he was just as equally as bad in Carolina as he was with the Jets. Why was Jones signed to the Colts as a backup?

Both were part of the problems & weren't the solutions. Anyone with any common sense concerning football knows that.

I can most definitely respect that.

You should never draft a RB in the top 2 rounds until you're in a super bowl window

Well he’s been injured for one, but if he’s this bad player like you say, how is moving him to guard going to magically fix him.
