Im not sure this is good news.

Just focus on slow growth through the draft. This team is still atleast two very good drafts away from having enough talent to win a playoff game.

Loomis is going to go all in for a 9-8 season.

Up to $85 mil in space without cutting anyone. We can definitely be as big of a player as we want, if we want.

Guess it’s just a total coincidence….

you can’t blame him for everything and not give credit when good picks are made.

The truth is Payton likely had a lot of say in the moves that fricked us for years with Davenport and Payton Turner

That's my takeaway from him saying that... he plans on making big moves during the offseason

I REALLY hope we don’t start this shite again.

Focus on making A BUNCH of picks again that will add to the backbone of the club moving forward.

Push into future what you need to ensure compliance without starting the same cycle again. Eat the remaining hits.

Develop your picks and compliment with bargain FAs that will ensure Shough isn’t hung out to dry.

When you have another get right year under your belt, if Shough continues to look like the guy moving forward THEN you start to look for more impactful incomings to mesh with the 2nd half half of his rookie deal without over extending yourself if the league catches up to him.

It’s not about next year it’s about the next 10 and it’s seems like with another year of discipline we have a real chance of getting there soon.

You go all in when your QB of the future is on his rookie deal. We have 3 years to play with before we start getting to the hard part.

Mickey is going to have this place in shambles with some of his offseason moves.

Mickey has been saying that for years
Except last year, when he said they needed to do a bit of a reset.

Also, the nothing to show for isn't due to lack of trying. We have been going all in since 2009 up until last year. The result isn't what you want but we have tried for 15 straight years to keep it going.

Tired of people saying it too. How many teams go from horrible to surprise playoff team every year? At least a couple. We can be that team EASILY and also sustain it since our QB is cheap right now.

This. The next 2-3 years are the years to spend but front load the deals so those players aren’t as big of a hit when Tyler comes up for his deal in 2028

We are signing a Guard, maybe two. I expect them to make a play for a CB, just like they did last season. I could even see them signing a guy like Mike Evans if he leaves the Bucs.

Building slowly was never an option. The NFL is littered with worst-to-first each season. Goal should be to follow the Patriots model.

As up as I am on Kool-aid and Riley compared to how I felt before the year, I definitely think a true CB1 can change our defense. For sure hope we look at one.

I have a feeling we’re going to lose Alontae so a CB will definitely be needed

Don't touch the 2027 and 2028 caps Loomis. No more can kicking. Draft and smart contract value FAs.

The same as every team in the playoffs except for the Eagles and Patriots -- 1 super bowl win or less in the last 20 years

Yet you would proclaim half of these franchises as light years better than the Saints.. the results are no different

The Shough window officially opens next year. Best chance to win is between now and when we have to pay him big bucks.
