Just wrong, game 2 or 3 was a perfect pass between the LB underneath and safety over top, not an "easy wide open ball".Like Mike Maute people believe the story and not their eyes. Hump hasn't been targeted as much as other, but has caught all with yac after, including big body stiff arm to endzone. Doesn't need to be a burner.

Both drops by EB were wide open running free or standing still. I want both of course, my choice...bye kirkwood

Because he can’t separate

If we are thinking of the same play,,. You need to rewatch it again

He dropped 3 of 12 targets. I didn't see the second because I was listening on the radio, but the first doinked off of the facemask and the third hit him right in the hands at the numbers last night.

I hope he figures it out because hes made some impressive circus catches in camp. I know he has it in him.

I want both, but speed is overrated with a guy like LJH who just “makes catches”. It’s hard to put a finger on but it just works

I like Butler a lot. He just needs to stay focused. Both drops were just mental errors.

shite is really funny so many people would keep Humphrey over butler.
you don't let butler get away, he has way more talent

sometimes coming from a small school it's an adjustment.
He is a baller and you could tell just from the td catch

Agreed.

You can't teach size and speed.
You can teach hands (look at Ginn before and with us)

I love the story of LJH, but he is someone who I imagine a Xavier Rhodes lines up on him and I question can he get away or he's gonna be stuck on him like glue.

He's gonna struggle with real corners. He's gonna be blanked by elite ones.

Anquan bolden says hi... Speed isn't always everything. Some players just got it and know how to run routes and position themselves to beat speed.

yeah Boldinis a borderline hall of famer type.

also boldin was a high pick coming out and had elite hands

You keep both, Humphrey is a gamer. He can box out anybody and jump over them.

there are several players that don't have elite speed..aqaun, matheiu, fitz, Harrison, jerry rice, muhhomad, dez. elite speed is great to have just stating its not always necessary. id rather have a guy that will catch everything thrown his way over a guy that may drop 3 of ten passes. dropped passes ae drive killers in this league. maybe you've never played a down of football and don't realize a great route and throw will beat great coverage all day.

Agree the comparisons are dumb, but Butler was just as slow at his pro day. He seems to be able to separate somehow.
