Let’s be frank: you’re an idiot. Have a downvote.

You really got some fish with the shiny hook that is this thread.

Brees has two or three of those games every year. And good on your for ignoring the rest of my post and plowing ahead with your colossally bad take.

I think I’ve responded a quite bit, no?

well he is, and a lot of info has been submitted in replies to explain this stance by the fans, but if you disagree that is fine - but at least be willing to at least listen to others POV instead of just dismissing them outright.
also I am really refraining form insulting you, because i'm genuinely trying to help you understand what is happening.

You could line Kamara there, and it just becomes the Wildcat. He can't actually read the defense and then make an accurate throw in tempo 20-30 yds downfield, with anything near the appropriate touch.
Over two years. All seven of them.

Same thing applies to just about every other great RB/TE/WR. Interesting run package, if they even have a pass option it's 1 target, 2 at absolute most. Taysom can throw the deep slants and posts, crossing routes etc.
How many of those can he throw?
I said Hill CAN make those throws, you counter by saying he's only done it seven times.
It isn't about quantity of throws. If you want the best passer, you go with Brees, regardless of who else is there. And I'd say that if we signed Tom Brady.
Hill played QB in college, and I've seen him play then and in the preseason. Yes, he absolutely CAN sit back and read a defense, and make throws. If you send one WR deep and have another come underneath into the zone vacated by the safety, he can hit that guy. He can see the play develop and pass it in a timely manner, getting the ball to, say, Mike Thomas in rhythm.
Not as good or consistently as Brees, but I gaurantee 100x better than Kamara, or any other non-QB on the team, and probably the NFL.
THAT'S the difference between Taysom, and a Wildcat scheme. If Taysom is at QB in the shotgun, you CAN NOT play goal line D, and put a single man on the WRs, with zero safety. Thomas (and Kamara) can make moves that get them open, and Hill can hit them in stride, and that's a TD.
That makes the defense softer when he runs. Better to give up a 10 yd run than a 60 yd pass.

Watch this LINK
It's NFL.com, every Taysom Hill pass (complete, incomplete, etc). Don't worry about the percentages, watch the actual throws. Like I said in the post above, Hill is a functional QB. There are a few passes that you absolutely won't ever see a RB make.

Because Let me be Frank .
Sean Payton is the coach and you are not
Mickey Loomis is the GM and you are not.
They football professionals, with over 20 + years of experience, and a Super Bowl Ring, see value in his services.
They say he is worth that contract, so he brings a lot to the table for them.
It doesn't matter what you believe, it is what they believe
Just enjoy the upcoming season and don't be one of those "I think I am smarter than you" douchebags

Fair enough. I’ll be the first one to admit wrong about TH if he shows out. Deal?

Refuse to do it? Do they even have the ABILITY to do it?

And if you disagree; please tell us what he does bring that any other athletic player wouldn’t.
It’s obvious to me that what he brings is an ultimate team guy attitude and that mixed with his ability is invaluable to Payton. The dude did have 7 TDS last year. That’s the same amount as Hopkins and Tyreek hill...hell there were only 15 guys total with more and two were on his team. He’s pretty good man.

Hill can drop back and pass, so you have to treat him like a legit QB back there. But you also have to adjust to the running threat on the fly, with minimal prep for it. And then, he can just motion out wide... the idea is that you're fricking with the defense's mind.

you hope he is the Saints next QB?
This should be the question. And the answer is no. But to act like he doesn't bring anything to the team is idiotic. He's blocked punts, made tackles, ran/thrown/caught touchdowns. He brings a lot to the team.
But if he asks much more than he's getting and wants to be starting QB, he should hit the road

It's like in baseball, if your left fielder happens to be able to pitch and can throw in the upper 90's. But lacks the stamina to go for more than an inning.
And you have a starter who's a crafty offspeed guy, and is capable of fielding.
- you can swap them, without pulling either one; bring in the flamethrower for a couple batters and then go back to the starter again.

I’d argue Taysom is more athletic than most players. Great 40 time for any position and sized like a linebacker. Plus he can launch a football

Pretty dumb take. Sure, you could find a running Back with hands to do much of what Hill does, but the threat to pass is the X factor.
