I'm just basing my opinion on the empirical evidence about her behavior.
I also base it on her sexual orientation, but to a lesser extent.
She's spoiled and lazy and people like that are more than likely to seek ways to make sure the gravy train doesn't end.
I don't personally know Mrs. Benson either, but she certainly seems more normal RB.

I bet Phil Whitmann gets a full body shiver, followed by a crushing migraine, when he imagines what it would be like for Tom Benson to be cross examined in court by Randy Smith.

Randy Smith drafted a good petition. But that's all it is. A pleading with as yet unproven allegations.
Gayle is okay. She made Tom happy for the last ten years. Unlike, apparently, his granddaughter.
I doubt this lawsuit has serious legs. They'd better be careful or they could end up with nothing. That would be hilarious.

I'll say this neither side will come out a winner on this fiasco. I do believe that Rita Benson, Renee Benson, and Ryan Benson will win on the incapacity issue. I was unaware of some of the other measures that the Tom Benson side inflicted here because these aren't financial decisions that were made these were very vindictive & emotional moves by the Gayle Benson camp which really raise some questions.
It also won't just be Renee, Ryan, & Rita who will be joining this fight it will be the four generations of other Bensons who will be intervening in this matter. This impacts Larry Benson's family directly and their interests in Lone Star Capital Bank because the monetary withdrawal really jeopardizes the financial situation of that bank. Larry Jr., Bob/Sam Beneski, Peake family will coming with the gloves off now against Gayle.
Again I am on Gayle Benson's side and really like her but this legal move doesn't pass the smell test for me because I don't think Tom Benson is capable of making this decision. Randy Smith is one hell of a lawyer as if Phil but if I had to put my money on a lawyer in this mess would put it firmly with Randy Smith because Phil isn't a young buck anymore.

Gonna get real messy. Randy Smith is a good attorney. Luckily, I've never needed his services. But he has represented a few friends of mine.

Saints are not leaving. It would take a decade like the Rams have had to even make the NFL consider it. Louisiana is going to do whatever it takes to keep them. So the only place the Saints might move to in 2026 would be a new stadium.

The pelicans have an "ironclad" lease until then, but if fan support doesn't pick up (esp if there are good seasons) then I could see them leaving at the end of their lease (if they are sold). Phil has plenty of back up and will do fine. Randy is good but not superman. Louisiana law is not on Rita and company's side.

no but that is what it would take to get lebron to nola.
We will hire avery and AD will leave when we don't compete for a title in a few seasons. I have prepared myself for that.
