The Saints offense has hummed along for 10 year with some pretty average WRs.

The Saints right now have well below average WRs. There is one WR on the roster who was drafted.

Edit: would put our WRs in 30-32 range if ranking all of the leagues depth charts

Lawson or Rankins are my top 2 choices unless someone falls.

Both are the best pass rushers at their positions with the highest grades likely to be there if we have to pick at 12.

I proposed in another thread my dream scenario would be trading 12 and sliding to 22ish. Add a pick to our 2nd to get back in the 1st and draft a combination of Butler and Dodd.

I would agree on Lawson. Not Rankins...but again that is just my own opinion...I doubt either is there though at 12

Per my usual response in Treadwell threads:

Doctson >>>>>> Treadwell

Jerry Rice was a 4.60 Wr and we know how that ends.

Antonio Brown is a 4.58 WR an runs by everyone

That's right. And we all know that being a burner doesn't necessarily translate to all-pro receiver. 4.6 is fast enough.

Throw Anquan Boldin in that list and Jarvis Landry.

You can put Boldin in but Landry can't run a route over 5 yards because of his speed

anybody like Carroo from Rutgers?? Guess I'm alone on that boat like I was with Bruce Ellington a few years back.

but Ellington sort of has wasted away in San Fran and that weak arse offense that pretty much has been Carlos Hyde mostly.

Yeah do the safe thing Saints, if Lawson is there take him. Unless Bosa or Buckner or someone of that nature fall. Loves the game and has the production to show for it.

I still would take Treadwell even at 12 if the draft falls that way.

Is this assuming Doctson is off the board? If you're going WR at 12, Doctson >>>>>>Treadwell.

I think Doctson is the better player too. I kind of don't understand why he isn't a top 15 pick instead of Treadwell.

I've posted about him in another thread about potential mid-round selections. Count me in.

How many receivers out there are as physical as Boldin? Definitely not treadwell.

Before the questions on his health it was a question if he would be there when we pick. And as its deeper draft in DT's than DE's health aside I think he's our pick.
