he's gotta have autism, or is at least on the spectrum... not a doubt in my mind...

and he is NOT a head coach in the NFL... some people are just not cut out for that role, and he's one of them... his ceiling is and should have been OC, but b/c we had basically NO ONE want the job, we hired him out of desperation...

this organization is down bad, and i don't see any way it gets better anytime soon, honestly

You can do that if you’re winning. If you’re getting your arse kicked I want some fricking answers man

I think Mike McCarthy wanted it. We waited and waited and when it became clear we were going for Kellen he pulled himself out

ETA

Can we start getting an opportunity counter on these

ETA reporters firing at him with the Brees criticisms

He's literally just saying opportunity over and over and refusing to answer the questions about why he wasn't calling the PA or screens

And they gave him a few different opportunities to answer it

When we hired Moore, it was always a bet that he'd be a different...more ready guy in a couple of years from where he was.

Why he didn't get any of the other jobs is pretty obvious now. He's just not an alpha...at all. He doesn't command respect. He's a passive leader.

The bet was that he was a good enough young football mind that, if given time, could learn to be a HC and develop the leadership type of skills that would be needed.

A year in, and you can see all of the weaknesses. Unfortunately, you don't see any of the strengths. And, he seems to not recognize how important the HC aspect of the job is. Someone convinced him that this bland, no answer approach is the right thing to do and nobody cares about him enough to sit him down and explain how this is impacting him negatively.

This isn't only about press conferences. The guy saw his defense literally quit on him 2 weeks ago...and then follow up with another listless performance. Both of those were in the dome.

I actually think he's lost the locker room...just not in an antagonistic way like most coaches lose it. The players don't hate him. They just don't respect him and have no confidence in the direction of the team.

I think you have to give Moore through the end of next year...but the writing is on the wall IMO.

He really is in over his head. This dude will never be an NFL head coach again once we fire him midway into next season.

I watched cam's interview just now from today and he mentioned guys were making business decisions out there for the falcons game. They're quitting

Cam and Erik seem pissed off as hell

See the former leader on the defense playing for another team. Cam is on his last leg and that's well known and another leader is hurt.

That's definitely true if he ends up being fired.

And, I think he knows he's in over his head. He's not aggravated by the questions and giving short answers. He looks petrified by the questions and just wants to end the question as quickly as possible.

Winning changes all those words.
CKM took over a team that the majority here said was years away.
Now? Fire him lol

I'm sure they both sense the vacuum of leadership. Cam can't do it anymore. I doubt he's able to influence the other guys much either.

I had one of the most pessimistic views of this team on this site.

My opinion is based on what I'm seeing. I agree that this team is rightfully a couple of years away. But, I'm getting pretty solid on my opinion that Moore isn't a quality coach. You can't win without a good HC.

To put this into perspective, I think Dennis Allen was a better HC.

OK
Gonna strongly disagree there. DA inherited CSPs team.
CKM inherited DAs team lol

I think so too.

Dead serious but I think the NOS channel deleted Mccoy's video he was so mad I can't find it anywhere and it was uploaded an hour ago

I understand and don't disagree.

But, are you able to offer an analysis on Moore with that reality? Or, do you need results before you can come to any conclusion?

It's not the losses to me. I expected most of them. I probably would have had one more win by now.

it's like this team has lost its balls ever since the Raiders gave them hell in the fourth quarter a few weeks ago.

I think against the Giants the offense should be able to not get suffocated like they did this past game against Minnesota.

but then I think about the coaching matchup and it's John harbaugh versus more. so that just doesn't do anything for me really.

maybe jameis will throw us a few interceptions but we just don't have a lot of confidence right now so I don't know if it really matters who we play

The thing is when a team is struggling there are coaches out there where you still trust the vision they have going forward.

Combine his milquetoast scripted plays and very poor command of a room and you wander how long it’ll last before a team full of nfl football players are just out.
