Got into a fight

Ive gotten in a lot of fights in bars in my youth. Won some lost some. Never beat someone on the ground repeatedly. Never been beaten if I went to the ground. There is getting into a fight and there is hurting someone intentionally. Only one of those happened.

Him being drunk and being steered to wave his right, would that be grounds to have that thrown out? Or at least have a influence on the case?

Pretty sure he was approached at the stadium and went straight to the police station from there. There were obvious jokes about how hungover some of the players out there were, but unless he was knocking them back at half-time, not sure he can use that defense

he will pay some fines and get suspended a few games. Nothing serious is going to happen

Unless the victim is wealthy himself, I'd guess he'd rather this be more of a civil suit

I got 5 on AK never setting foot inside a jail cell because of this. He'll be fined and may have to sit 3 games but that's going to be the extent of it. And the plaintiff will get PAID. AK will be lighter in the pocket book. Nothing another Sydney Torres commercial wont take care of.

The biggest damage of this whole thing will be Alvin’s reputation. Saints fans love to see him as this care free quiet guy, which might still be true, but stomping someone’s face in will change some minds. I imagine some sponsors have already cut ties as well

Definitely gonna make it harder to cheer for this dude. Always looked the part of a thug, but never acted like one in the public eye.

You don't have to prove that.

Obviously, there will be some sort of punishment. He needs to ride it out.

This isn't a situation he cannot recover from.

I really want to know what started it. Not that it matters. Just curiosity. I have heard it was because he called one of them ugly? If true, come on. I'm sure alcohol was a huge influence, but so is lifestyle. The ski mask isn't so cute now.

He was probably intoxicated and the cops lied and said they'd release him pending investigation ONLY if he talked to them.

Or, more likely, they read him his Miranda rights as per policy and procedure and then questioned him. The dumbass still talked.

He will probably get prosecuted but he will take a plea.

He will for sure get suspended but these things always quietly go away.

Ya right. He'll also need to bride the DA. This is a felony charge. You obvious don't know what that means.

People get off on felony charges all the time. The bail was only 5k.

First offense. Well known player with no background.

This will for sure go away.
