Ellis doesn’t play if Werner and Davis are healthy. He probably wanted a shite go play, he earned it
That's right

Just remembered jackson. I wonder if there's any expectations for him

Well good for him I guess.
Will the Saints ever trade away a good young player we are not going to keep for a pick one day?

Hate to lose Kaden. He played well and earned his stay here!

Top 5 defense gone...
Well this thread is about Elliss and he only had one good season because the starter got injured, so he didn't have a ton to do with the "Top 5 Defense". But he did contribute a lot to special teams.
Without doubt the defense has gotten thin today. I wanted to keep Elliss but it was always going to be hard when we didn't have a starting spot for him.

he's definitely gotten better with time, but there still some other viable candidates available...
Kyzir White would be at the top of my list... Kwon is out there again... Anthony Barr still has some left in the tank...
and some draft options to keep an eye on would be Pappoe from Auburn, Overshown from Texas, Banks from Tennessee, Sewell from Oregon, Williams from Tulane, and Diabete from Utah

Falcons: if you cant beat em, sign em.

This one stings. I wanted him to be our Demario replacement
Posted on 3/13/23 at 10:01 pm to tigerbait3488
frick of course it’s the Falcons. Really wanted to keep him.

This one sucks.
Even though the saints will be fine, i would've liked to lock him down as that third guy you can have if werner gets hurt.
Would've been nice for him to take over for demario in the future. These are the type of guys you lose when you are up against the cap.

Why did it take us so long to figure out Kayden could play? We had him under contract for a while and didn’t play him. Even drafted another LB later because I guess they thought Kayden couldn’t play. Mystery.
