I am guessing you are between 17-23 years old and already own a #ComebackSZN sweatshirt.
No, the answer is no.
No, the answer is no.

God damn right.
He has the tools. Arm strength and enough size.
Let him learn from the GOAT for a couple of years.

I don't know if I'm buying that he's actually bipolar. That being said, he said a lot of good things in that interview. Things that I've never heard him say, as well as taking responsibility for his own actions.

We don't need the media circus around camp so it's a NO for me.

He has shown this song and dance before. He is well spoken, and is a charming kid when he wants to be.
Folks will not fool for it a second time around. They know better.
The sad thing is he is an automatic take if he wasn't a mental disaster. He was actually decent in the NFL while on drugs and alcohol. His talent is undeniable. But he is an unholy train wreck as a person. Media frenzy for a team to. He has been tebowed.

It would not be as bad a media circus as Colin Kapernick but the same issue. No I in team.
If they do bring him in sign Eric Reid also, they can split the attention whoring chores.

If he doesn't drink he'll be a different person. I would give him a chance.

He would have to prove that he can stay straight while behind Brees and then he would tear it up in Peytons offense. Wouldn't even need to waste a first rounder on Mayfield when you can get the same player for free.
Great idea, put a person with substance addiction and personality disorder in New Orleans.

Jesus what A bunch of haters . All these perfect life people on the rant . Sign him for league minimum and if he screws up cut him . Nobody is perfect , Give the kid another chance . And yea he is still A kid . Damn ....

Well, have family members that have had issues over the years, so understand the stigma. He claims to be sober, so if true, what have you got to lose bringing him to camp. A talented QB with a lot of upside. Thinking he is a little more humble & hungry today.

I like it. Former Heisman and first round pick. He knows what it’s like to lose everything so I highly doubt he would be stupid enough to frick up again. Sign him for cheap and force him to compete for a backup spot.

He's never done anything in the NFL.. Sober or not who's to say he doesn't suck at 100% and sober? We're better than that and don't need this sideshow clown as a distraction. Not to mention the dude is a complete douche. No, just no.

I'm not gonna shite on his character anymore. Everyone makes mistakes and dude was an addict. Do I know 100% if he really is bipolar? Idk, but sounds like he went to a doctor and got diagnosed and put on meds for it, so he's just following doctors orders and trying to get better. I don't think he's really using it as an excuse.
That said, I don't want the Saints to sign him up and honestly if he wants to make it back in the league he needs to go to the CFL and prove himself there. I'm sure a CFL GM will be more willing to take a chance on him because they need more exposure and he's still a big name guy which will at least create intrigue. As it stands now it's not like he was that good when he was playing, so combine that with the off field issues any NFL GM with any risk/reward analysis isn't gonna sign him, especially teams that already have proven QBs like the Saints.
I'd rather us pool our drafting and FA acquisitions into things we need RIGHT NOW and deal with the QB situation once Brees is gone. Our team was a fluke play away from an NFC CG while littered with injuries and we have a bunch of young talented players. You have maybe a few more years of Brees playing at an elite level, I'd rather us do everything we can to get another title in that window when you know what we have at QB instead of wasting a pick or cap space trying to find Drew's replacement. Even if we suck for a year or two when Brees is gone, I can deal with that if it means we got him another title or even 2 during his final years here.
