Five upvotes? When I said the Allen hire was a mistake and we should have got Harbaugh in the off-season, got nothing but downvotes? So what changed lol?

Maybe it was loyalty to Allen from fans that he deserved a shot. We are in the process now of seeing it as a possible mistake so now perspectives are different.

Yea I’ll just leave this right here …..

3 in 4 years and took over a team with a losing record. But everyone is happy with a coach with a losing record in all 3 of his years? He left SF after butting heads with T Balke who Leftwich is refusing to coach in Jax unless he’s gone. Lots of downvotes here but I guess most of you don’t understand statistics I guess….

Dude I’ve literally watch this board downvote one post and upvote the exact same post when someone else post it in the same thread.

This could be the most level headed thing I have ever read on this site.

Hmm, it was widely reported he wanted back in the nfl last year. He interviewed with the Vikings. Only team to interview him and they were about to hire him and changed their mind at the last minute.

He has the same demeanor that CSP has and is clearly lacking with Allen.

Yea after the Vikings went in another direction. Like I said, the time to get him was last off-season.

Jimbo is probably set at UM for life. One interesting thought could be Indy where he had his best years as a pro QB but it's doubtful.

after this past offseason he said he was done looking at the nfl and will be at Michigan as long as they'll have him.

given the type of guy Harbaugh is, i'll take him at his word.

after all he's done the last couple years, i wouldn't be mad if he did go to the nfl at some point. he's more than earned it from this Michigan fan's perspective.

if he does go back to the nfl, i'd want it to be with my hometown Saints.

While I believe he's an upgrade from Dennis Allen, the front office will keep Allen an extra year.

All the injuries, this year, will be his saving grace.

Hopefully will be able to unload some of these ridiculous contracts ( Peat), and get a better offensive play caller.

If we are lucky, the Saints can get a good QB late in draft. ( It has happened before, Brady, Prescott, Garoppollo, Cousins)

First round quarterbacks are not a given. ( Darnold, Mayfield, Trubisky)
