Probably has been said before this but Jeff Saturday just said on PiSPN because of the situation and timing... "it was the worst missed call in the history of the NFL"... its not even an interpretation of a call, its a blown call..."...they (team? players?) will never recover from this..."

Honestly can’t imagine how devastated you have to be as a player. All of that hard work and to just have it all ripped away by something totally out of your control, as a competitor it has to be a tough pill to swallow. It took us years to get back to this point and have home field and the numbers are against it lining up this perfectly again

I havent been able to think of much else besides the missed tee ball games, birthday parties etc...specifically for the purpose of getting to a Super bowl.

And it was ripped from thier hands

Worst I've ever seen, and made even more egregious because two officials were RIGHT THERE looking straight at the play and did nothing. It's not like they just didn't see it.

I'm very disappointed as a fan (understatement).

I feel for the coaches and players who played good enough to win.

i thought about that a lot today.

yesterday is done so let it be gone.

but moving forward.. man I don't know the team is gonna be able to shake that off.

i hope they do but god that was a brutal way to end the season.

2 years in a row now with a truly nasty ending.

Really? I have zero concern about this staff and team coming back next season and kicking arse. Is home field advantage a lock? No. But I fully expect to be back in the playoffs.

Drag them motherfrickin crooks (Goodell and his criminal crew) through the mud non-stop until something is done.

There needs to be daily and around the clock complaints from the fans and those in the sports media world who have any bit of integrity, there needs to be a class action lawsuit, and there needs to be a federal investigation into corruption in the NFL.

Burn the whole frickin racket of a league down.

I hope you are right man.

i guess i'm further down in the dumps than i realize.

and you bring up a good point cause they bounced back after last years debacle at the end so who is to say they can't do it again.

it's just so hard to make it as far as we did and then to have it straight up taken away from us? Man that's a kick to the sack.

Next year, they need to go out of their way and run clean over the ref. After, say you didn’t see him.

Last years loss was like having your heart rippped out. This year was a donkey kick straight to the nuts.

Last years loss was at least due to play on the field. This year's loss was absolutely influenced by the incompetence of the referees.

I think they bounce back it’s just the NFL and duplicating the success we had is insanely hard to do. I think we’ve got one ride left in with this team. Need to go all in, moreso than even last off-season.

If I was CSP, I’d tell Drew to throw right at the refs, and I’d line up my safeties and LBs at WR, and reinstate the bounties on them. Burn it down!

NAILED IT

this was the game that would redeem our bad luck in 2011 and 2017. unfrickingreal. those chances are now gone forever. there is no tomorrow and no guarantees. we have seen this shite enough first hand. just ask the browns, lions, jag and texans how many times they have had a real shot at a SB. you have to take advantage of it when you have it unfortunately we were not even allowed to do that yesterday

we had chances in 2011 and last year and could not get it done. we should have two rings now at least.

it is hard as hell to get the 1 seed. took us 9 years to get it again. odds are greatly against us if we have to win anything on the road in playoffs. doubtful we ever see 1 seed again with drew. took 9 years to be in this position again and POOF gone like that keyser soze style

Last year's loss was something the team could correct and could control. This year's loss is out of the control of the team.
No matter how hard you work, practice, and play the refs can snatch victory right out from under your feet.
