There’s not been a single time tonight where Purdy holds the ball for 5+ seconds. Everything is in rhythm and on time with their offense and they attack the whole field. Pete and Carr should take notes

Purdy is absolutely going to be a top 5 qb in the nfl in the next few years. You can just see how slow the game is for him already. I’m not saying he’s going to be as good as Brady/Brees but he is playing a lot like them already.

It's all about intentional movement causing space and mismatches.

Carr makes more $$$ in one half of football than Purdy makes in one year

Shanahan has plenty to do with it.
The man had Matt Ryan in the Super Bowl!

This was Purdy in college:

The coach/system has the biggest impact on making a good NFL quarterback. Purdy is good right now, going to start to see if he can be great pretty soon.

I personally think he has a massive chip on his shoulder, reminds me a lot of Drew.

Saints need to interview Chris Foerster when Allen gets canned

All of the things our offense lacks

(until the entire fanbase complains, then one week of good offense)

Why?

He is 61 and has only been an offensive line coach.

As an offensive line coach and run game coordinator yeah. Not as a head coach.

So they've played the Steelers, Cardinals, Rams, Dallas and the Giants.

Is it really impressive to beat all 5, or just the Rams and Dallas?

Didn’t the cardinals beat Dallas?
Steelers just beat Baltimore.

I'll have to give it a listen.

You would hire him as your head coach?

I think he would be an interesting choice as an oc. Those running schemes are next level.

I’m half joking but McDaniel basically said the offense runs through Foerster and that’s how he learned the offense. It opened up his eyes as a play caller.

Said it was the best thing he ever done. And it was all by Foersters design. Foerster is Shanhan’s true right hand man

That's what an offensive genius for a head coach gets you. Just look at them and the Dolphins and prime examples. The crazy thing is the 49ers have a great offense and a top 3 defense possibly #1 defense. The 49ers are going to be something to deal with for the foreseeable future. The Christian McCaffery trade put them over the top.

Saints have a top 5 defense, and an offense with the potential to be Top 10. We can contend with that, just need the offense to figure it out soon.

The Carmichael / Carr combo with a mediocre o-line is not gonna net you a top 10 offense imo.

If everything clicks we might sneak into the top 15 but I’m not optimistic.

Saints have the weapons. If you gave Shanahan the Saints offense it would be functioning at a much higher level that it is now.
