Abberations; sort of like that Gary Crowton VT game or that OSU game.

37 TD in 66 games (some of which were very limited) is not an abberation.

We weren't talking about Td's; we were talking about COMPLETE FOOTBALL GAMES by someone who is SET TO EARN 11 MILLION DOLLARS THIS YEAR.

37 tds in 66 games is not worth 11 mill; abberations.

Nobody, including Reggie, thinks he is an 11 million dollar player. Not sure what you're upset about.

Reggie thinks he is worth more than he is apparently because he still isn't a saint and a trade is in place bearing his decision.

So he can make 3 mill a year at a legit superbowl contender with a top 3 qb or he can go make 5 somewhere else.

What do you think he is gonna choose?

Neither of those numbers are 11. Still not sure what you're getting at.

Sure his good games are REALLY good, but he is usually non-existent for big parts of each season.

The offense will be less dynamic.

Congrats bush haters.

Exactly. Which is why I'm completely indifferent about this.

Good luck wherever he ends up, be it NOLA or Miami. I'm good either way. I don't think he's such a player that will have much of an effect on the Saints' season.

I am so glad he is not in the NFC!

I am going to miss that guy. Miami loses their former Saint running-back and gets a new one.

How about you post them?

I'm at work and can't do research. Do it for us and let us know what kind of drop-off the offense had when he was out.

You could be talking 10 yards. You could be talking 100.

Again, there may be a difference in production, but, IMO, there was nothing he did that would swing games.

If Reggie didn't play, we wouldn't be worrying about the offense dragging and sputtering. We wouldn't be pessimistic about the possible outcomes.....

getting anything is good, Haynesworth for a 5th, McNabb for two 6ths, something like that or less prolly. Conditional would be good. Let him be healthy a year and boost it up.

The deal makes sense in that

a) he'd like to end up there anyway and they pay him what he wants
b)MIA keeps him off the open market for any potential bidding
c) Saints keep him in the AFC
d) getting anything is better than nothing
e) prolly not, but as much as they overpaid him the past few years a little degree of gratitude to the club and going where they work it out

I would love for Reggie to stay and take the reduced pay, but I don't blame him for going where the money is at either. Reggie was a big part of rebuilding the Saints especially selling tickets. He did help the off as well maybe not with the numbers that a #2 pick should have but he did make us better.
