Loomis knows he should fire DA but he still refuses to do it. That is just beyond my comprehension. Wether you want to try to get Sean back or not I just don’t see how Loomis can honestly tell people he’s working in the best intraday of the Saints. He’s gotten complacent and has Gayle’s trust. She’s an absentee owner. If Tom were alive still alive then Sean Payton is still our head coach. Apologies for the rant this is just really frustrating. Everyone wants DA fired and management basically is saying go frick your self.

I'd feel a lot better if we got the QB situation out of the way. We need a QB. I will never be excited about the possibility of the Saints doing well without a QB.

We need a coach first and foremost. Even with a good QB we will be mediocre eith DA leading the way.

Quarterback is the most difficult job to fill anywhere within a franchise or be associated with any football team anywhere. Find the QB, the rest will take care of itself eventually.

It feels like we already are the early 80s saints.

To be honest, we would have been estatic for a 7 win team in the Ditka years.

She's a decent person, likeable, and probably brings King Cakes to the office but I agree she is in over her head.

All she has to do is make a public statement that she's not going to tolerate her customers and their vehicles in continued danger. Make a damn public statement that the teams are at risk and the pressure on Teedy will mount.

We lost another pick (Jordan Jackson) practice squad yesterday to Denver, probably because nobody wants to live in NOLA.

I think if things don't change pre 2006 Saints is the new normal.

If you think we lost Jordan Jackson off the practice squad because no one wants to live in NOLA, you are a dumb frick.

Look I hate Allen as well and was on the fire him train. In reality we're not really an attractive destination right now. It might be better to ride out a couple bad seasons with allen until we get the cap back under order and can hit rebuild in earnest.

I like people saying this like these guys have to live in the city if theyre here. A practice squad guy would have little to no reason to go into NOLA if they didnt want to.

Every word of this is speculation at best.

You cannot possibly hope to understand the reality of the situation when you are so emotionally attached.

The way I see it is, yea I agree DA needs to be gone. The defense showed improvement through the year as his customary with DA, but the offense was putrid all year. That MUST change with a new OC.

It only helps so much though. I feel DA is a lame duck coach that will inevitably be fired during or after next season. He’s just not and never will be HC material.

The silver lining is the team makeup is gonna take a couple of years minimum to fix regardless. Why get a new young coach when we’re just gonna suck next year anyway and sour fans on him? Let DA lead the tank, get a high draft pick and hopefully a QB along with resolving cap issues in 2024 offseason instead. Then the new coach can start fresh.

mickey loomis is going completely unscathed at the moment in the media, but he is the sole reason why we are trending downward

Yeah I'm sure that's the reason.

I don't know about this. One thing that's clear about her is she likes to win. She was instrumental in getting the Pelicans on the right path. I would think she does the same for the Saints. She'll give Loomis another year to fix things but if Allen falters again he'll be on a very short leash.

We hold Tom a little too high in regard. Dude lucked into Payton who lucked into Brees.

We need Allen for another year. 2023 is gonna be rough. We are in a terrible cap situation, have no QB, and have no draft capital. Getting a new coach right now will just set him up for failure. We need a lame duck to take the hit and guide us to a high draft pick.
