That the Dolphins are giving up on him this quick and betting on an alleged serial sex offender. Anyone watch the Dolphins, is he that bad?

1. He’s a lefty. You need to be pretty good to change blocking etc.
2. He’s not very good.

Has Tua been traded? The Watson to Dolphins rumors are just noise drummed up by the Texans/ESPN to generate trade value and web clicks.

No trade, just crazy from Top 5 pick to talking about being moved on in roughly one year.

At times he looks pretty bad but he’s also had some good moments the past 2 weeks

I’ve watched. He’s not that good. He doesn’t move in the pocket well, he doesn’t go through progressions and he’s not that accurate.

At Bama he had a ridiculous Oline and his WRs always had a step so he was lethal in the RPO slant and deep balls. But in Miami he’s getting hit and moved off platform. Also his accuracy just isnt what it used to be.

Not saying he can’t be good but he would need a drew Brees like change of scenery

No one is taking the Tua contract until after 2022. It's like 30 mil garunteed.

????

His entire rookie contract was $30M. Cap hit for Miami in 2022 & 2023 is $8.3M and $9.6M, respectively. Those numbers could be as low as $3.4M & $4.7M for teams trading for him. Are you talking about his 5th year option may be worth that much?

I don't agree with the Saints trying to trade for him, but if they did they would have 2 years of him running the team to determine if they want to exercise the "option", let him walk, or negotiate a long-term deal.

This is what scared me about drafting Mac Jones. Although supposedly one of the wr’s said he was better than Tua during draft time.

Remember when the media said it was racist to pick Justin Herbert over Tua?

Tua’s not garbage (when relatively healthy). He’s not elite either. He’s probably a middle of the pack starting QB if he could stay healthy (which he unfortunately can’t).

Mac Jones is better than that I would say, he's proving it at NE. But now Bama people can clearly see that both Jones and Devonta Smith were no match for Joe Burrow and Jamar Chase like they were claiming. Lol Smith won the Heisman with Chase like numbers, but Chase is destroying everyone offensively this season in the NFL. LOL

Honestly, no one saw Herbert being a better QB than Tua in the NFL. I didn't either, dude is lighting up the NFL, but he didn't look like that in college. Tua looked much better in college at Alabama than Herbert did at Oregon.

Herbert was an average QB in a very QB friendly college offense, he was drafted on potential more than his effectiveness on the field. Tua was deemed the Heisman winner before completing a full season and was definitely seen as the best QB in the draft. That was the case, until Burrow took over as the best college QB.
