I love rumours, mates!
Honestly if his shoulder or arm was structurally messed up and he's optimistic it can be repaired I'd be thrilled at the prospect of him coming back.
I don't see how anyone could doubt his recovery record at this point - dude is a fighter and a champ. Please come back and let's run it back one more year.
To the people downvoting - yall realize that re-signing Jameis Winston will likely cost 85% of what Drew coming back would cost PLUS we'd be locked into Jameis for like 3 to 4 seasons. Drew coming back for 1 or 2 more seasons would also time up better with a hard rebuild. I'd rather have one or two more cracks at a title and then crash hard (a'la Colts after Peyton left) than be middling for the next 4 seasons.

My best friend works for the Saints and he said it’s a pretty foregone conclusion that drew us done in New Orleans. He said that he’d put money on him playing somewheres desperate for a QB before being back in New Orleans next season (could explain the ‘he’s not done rumors’, if there are any). Mutual thing..

No. The restructuring of his contract on Friday was a pretty large indicator that he’s retiring. If not, he comes back and plays for the league minimum.

Or he’s a post June 1 situation. He doesn’t have to do off-season programs, mini camps, etc. He just trains and rehabs and in August a team that has the $ and feels they’re a QB away sign him.

If he was a team player he would have stayed on the sideline until his shoulder healed enough for him to throw a 25 yard pass.
