So good for so long, and quite consistently. I like it.

No, he would need to win another individual award or postseason award to get that honor.

Tiki Barber isn't in yet and he's on that list

A Saints Hall of Famer? Absolutely

A NFL Hall of Famer? Unfortunately, a lack of a Super Bowl trip will probably undermine his bid

Is he very close to any more career achievements? Honestly I'm not sure off the top of my head. Maybe if he were able to grab one more piece of hardware or entry in a record book but just don't think that's super likely. If things ended today then no, unfortunately he is outside looking in. If he were to pull an MVP or All Pro, or a ring I think he would be a shoo in but that's looking like drug induced psychosis at this point

Let's say as it stands, cmc has better numbers and more accolades and even he wouldn't make it in. Even with 5 current all pro seasons. It's just a weird thing rbs need.

No. The next RB to get in is probably Adrian Peterson for comparison purposes

67th all-time in rushing yards
82nd in scrimmage yards
42 in total TDs

He will make the Saints HoF, but he should not get serious consideration for the actual Hall.

Maybe if the coach who holds players accountable would have stuck around

Do they put him on the ring of honor?

Doubt it. He also had the fight/arrest thing and was suspended in 2023 going against him.

No. He would have needed another 3 or 4 great years. Sharing the backfield hurt him in a way but also preserved him from the wear and tear.

Little known fact. Tiki Barber is the only player in NFL history to have a torch named after him.

The legend of AK always distorts the reality of AK. Sure, he's had some legendary performances in his career and he's done some physically amazing things that we all know other great RBs just can't do.

However, the reality is, his stats say he's had a good career and not a great career. Never rushed for over 1,000 yds. Averages 6 rushing TDs per season. Very mild numbers for a RB. You can factor in his receiving stats but keep in mind, those numbers peaked in his rookie year. They went down every season after that.

And unfortunately, his overall production is just on par with other RBs that aren't getting in. Take Joe Mixon for example. Both drafted in 2017. Mixon has about 2,000 more rushing yards and about the same number of rushing TDs. And he didn't play in 2025 and hasn't played in 2026. Factor in his receiving stats and he and AK have about the same overall production and he did it in a lot less games. Anyone think Mixon has a shot at the HoF?
