The Billy Joes were a huge upgrade over Heath Shuler

Lol, no. He simply wants a good backup. Pretty simple.

It's pretty simple if someone wanted to give you something for Rattler you take the deal and keep Wilson as back up.

The Saints are FUBAR without Shough regardless of which one is backing him up.

After watching Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, Baker Mayfield find a ton of success later on in their careers after ending up in different situations. It wouldn't shock me if Rattler did the same.

Hell, I like Rattler but at this point for good depth. That's his value, not as a potential starter.

You’ve got to remember this is the same front office who tried to sign Desean Watson. As far as Jeff Duncan is concerned ,like Hap Glaudi used to say bad pub is good pub, that means people are watching.

Once upon a time, the Saints FO told us that Jim Ninowski would be a great QB for the Saints. So the Saints FO traded Dave Long to get Ninowski.

Some things never change.

once upon a time Mickey Loomis signed Drew Brees then drafted the Pepsi OROTY QB to be his successor
