He will have 10+ sacks if he stays healthy.

I remember a very good amount of people on here calling Cam Jordan a bust at this point in his career.

Davenport will have a breakout year next year. He was raw. People tend to forget that. If he would've been at a big program the expectations would be different.

I mean, yeah. That’s what a reasonable person would do not the lunatics on here that want instant results.

Players should get at least 3 years to develop. He played 7 games last year.

The internet age has absolutely fricking ruined player expectations.

Can Jordan had ONE sack his rookie year. 1.

clowney had ZERO his first year and 4.5 his second year. davenport matched that his FIRST YEAR. you are dealing with football ignorant posters here. if it does not work out oh well. but we have to give hima shot in a fair timeline.

Clowney only played in 17 games over his first 2 seasons. And he’s overrated.

If Dav has a 2nd year similar to Cam(8.5 sacks), that’d be incredible. Exactly what I’m looking for.

I’m skeptical though. And again, I say this as a massive supporter of his.

that is fair. we all hope for best. he is a project. no guarantees. I will pull for him but i woulda preferred a proven FA. draft a stud WR. welp.

I am too. Don’t see a burst. The power is there but I don’t see the burst.

Dav flashed last year, but now he has no Jordan and no Rankins. Gonna be a lot harder to show up. He’s got tremendous natural ability.

I always go back to the play where he brought down Barkley in the backfield. He is a freak athletically. I think he will start to shine midway through the season.

He is using technique rather than his skills. Wait until after this season before writing him off. He had a good game today. He won't get a sack every play or multiple sacks in limited time. Once the season starts I think he will turn it up.

I agree. It’s worrisome. But lets let him play opposite Cam for a couple of games first.

This, its easy to slide protection towards him without Cam on the other side. Plus no Rankins hasn't helped either

I do find it interesting that this pops up when he actually produced stats in limited minutes.

Multiple hurries, hits and a half sack. And had a nice drop into coverage.
