I like Jameis and would much prefer him to get another shot over someone like Dalton. But it’s obvious he and DA hate each other and he isn’t an option moving forward. So what’s the point in talking about him? He’s basically a guaranteed cut.

I think Carr is a better QB than Winston
I don't think that's up for debate but it's 2 completely different discussions b/c Carr is going to cost a lot more than Jameis did.
We were shopping on the budget rack last year and are going to Nordstrom now for our QB

He is gone and everyone knows it. Why do you want people to keep going on about it?

Totally agree. I dont think there is a huge difference between the 2, carr is probably a little better, but will cost 3 times as much. We pretty much know what both of them are.

Winston sucks so it’s hard to have supporters. 20 million dollar arm, 2 cent head.

Moronic head coach played an injured player that was a total liability to the team.
It was reported in the media multiple times that after the initial healing period that the medical staff released Winston to play. They said that their was little risk of further injury but that it would be painful but that would also subside and that he would have to decide. Nobody forced him to play. He was in fear of being benched again for good reason because the media had come out of training camp talking about how well Dalton had performed during camp vs. Winston who already had at least a season in the system under his belt. If anything they should have pulled him earlier. Nobody forced him.

Dalton was the reason we were close to the playoffs
Dalton played pretty well.
I dont know why the team doesn't go ahead with him for a year or two.

Yep, and the best part was they circled the wagons at the slightest criticism of Jameis instead of being realistic and just accepting that he was going to be the same goofy cornball turnover machine that he’s always been.
Fun times on Saints talk.

I still think Winston is better than Carr. DA is a fricking moron.

I liked Winston better when he was in Tampa... Easy to lose composure...

Ol’ crab legs is lacking in the decision making dept?
Who could have seen that?

Was he injured the entire falcons game? B/c he looked pretty bad up until the end?

Lol. You sound like the idiots that argued with me that a hurt Winston was still better than Dalton after the third game.
We will see what kind of contracts they both get when they hit fa soon. That will tell you the difference on what nfl people think.

I'll be honest, I was one of those people. I wanted badly for him to come in and play well, one because we didn't have any other option and two, I felt like he had matured and was finally ready for the big show.
Well, I'm glad that it didn't take us long to figure out he was not the long-term solution here in New Orleans.
Pluses for Winston was the maturity, age, arm strength.
Negatives decision making, injuries.

Your definition of "supporters" is wrong. Most on here were hopefully the first 7 games of 2021 were a sign of a turnaround for a talented guy. Turns out it wasn't. But by all means continue with your "gotcha" posts.

Winston should have started this season. I am not sure how I feel about him long term, because we never got to see much, but if we can get Carr, I do believe he’s a better option at this point.
