I'm Amazed at how the Winston supporters have vanished here.

Do you think he's a better option than Carr? It seemed they all thought Winston walked on water.

Winston never had a chance with D.A.

Hoping Winston the best with next team. This team will be broken up after next year or the following aftet this staff is fired.

What is there to talk about? Winston is going to get cut and the Saints are moving on.

Doesn't seem like a topic of conversation anymore, unless you just to gripe and moan about something instead of looking to the future.

Moronic head coach played an injured player that was a total liability to the team.

Time to move on as a player and fan. Many such exits to come.

"All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages." ? William Shakespeare

Winston throws good, like a (click, click) quarterback should.

I would have rathered a healthy Winston over Dalton but doesn't mean I supported him or want him here. And no he's not better than Carr

Winston is going to cost like 33-50% what Carr will.

He was a budget/stop-gap option that wasn't too expensive and had the potential to out play his contract.

Carr is the opposite. He's going to have an elite QB contract that he's unlikely to ever live up to (like during his time in LV)

He was a good signing that did not work out. Started the previous season on fire but never recovered after being injured. Not sure what more needs to be said.

Still preferred him over Dalton or Taysom at Quarterback. You knew it was going to be a sack or qb run to the right %99 if the time, hell we could at the very least get an interception

Because there's not many who have much to say... He (Winston) has nothing new to offer , but more of what we seen...

Carr is NOT the answer !!

We don't need to over react , just to do something and get ourselves further down in the Money Hole.

I think most were hopeful that Winston could finally mature and become the QB he was capable of being. Not sure what happened. He was showing flashes in 2021 when he got injured against Tampa. Then this year something happened around the time of the back injury between him the coaches and front office. Talk was he refused to go into a game. Who knows what happened but after all that they never even considered putting him in a game.

I'm amazed you started another thread about JW.
Most wanted to give him a shot as we had little else and he was cheap.
Whats your excuse

You saw what you wanted to see. But you are either a troll or pretty low IQ so not surprising.

I am not a "supporter" but I, like many here, was hopeful Famous Jameis would play up to his potential and control his tendencies to try to do too much which invariably creates turnovers. It didn't work out that way.

So now I am not sure what a "supporter" would be here saying anyway.

he is not a winner and crumbles under pressure

Dalton was the reason we were close to the playoffs

Dalton sees a defender and either runs straight into them or falls to the ground in the fetal position.

I'm not here defending Jameis but based on the year he was a starter with Payton, we would have been in a better position. Could he have been as good under Allen, we won't know.

When you fall on the floor laughing after you post one sentence and don't actually put thought into what you post . You look like a dumbass

I was a Winston supporter, but what can you say at this point. Chronic injuries stopped him from ever getting settled in and now we are moving on. It would have been great if he could have developed but here we are.

No point in defending a guy who is clearly not in the plans going forward. That said I had mostly given up on him.

Winston has the most desirable talents with the least desirable decision making.

Carr has less strong talents, but way, way better decision making. I’ll take Carr every day.

Your obsession with Winston and takes are terrible.

Winston has a ton of talent. The hope was that CSP could unlock that potential and take a top 20 QB and make him a top 15/10 QB. Winston did well two years ago until his injury. He played poorly last year under Allen and Carmichael. It is what it is. Just because you have an irrational hatred for Winston doesn’t mean anyone who doesn’t share your viewpoint thinks he “walks on water”.

I think Carr is a better QB than Winston even though he’s not quite as talented. They are both average to above average QBs. I would have loved to have gotten Carr while CSP was here as I think that would have been great for us. I don’t have that confidence in Allen and his staff.
