There's a lot of other teams with better o linemen. Maybe we should take them as opposed to the team that you only watch.

Where the frick do you people come from?

What do you know about the technicalities of playing o-line?

Moving from tackle to guard is a big adjustment, it’s not as simple as sliding over a foot and doing the same job

What specifically led you to believe this was a good idea for Campbell?

He’s a tackle only player. Fantastic pass blocker that isn’t a good run blocker which isn’t what you want at guard in the NFL. Campbell and Jones both really could use. another year of college ball.

Beyond overrated. Has he even gotten better since his freshman season?

This coming from a SAINTS fan?! Let's agree that both teams have a fair amount of trailer trash, ghetto rats, and lots of good, everyday folks too...

Based on what I hear people like Jake and Tbob say, he doesn't have great RB technique and usually just out powers the people he is run blocking. That tells me he won't be great in the NFL at RB. He's a great pass blocker tho.

He won’t move to guard.

I know he’s highly projected in the mock drafts. But I haven’t been very impressed with him this year. He’s not on the level of a Whitworth, Faneca or even a Hawkins, Winey or La'el Collins IMO.

He’s a LT who hadn’t given up a sack in two seasons. 971 pass block snaps. He can take a dump a midfield at the combine and would still be a top 10 pick

Why are LSU people like this?

Man I’m sure that really just killed his draft stock. He will be lucky to be an UDFA now

He will still get drafted in the first round. If he makes it, great. If not, oh well.

It’s just like, my opinion man, that he hasn’t been as impressive as his hype.

Campbell is a stud tackle.

If he drops, you take him, slide Penning inside and put him at RT.

Brad Davis + Brian Kelly offensive scheme will do this.

He's been an absolute stud in pass protection. His PFF pass block grade is 83.5 even in this shitastic year.

I said I think he will have an underwhelming career and I stand by that.

What are your qualifications to make such an assumption? Or are you talking out of your arse?

I played in HS and have watched every game for almost 30 years. I watch football all day long Saturday and Sunday and I’m kinda a nutcase about it all lol.

I admit that I was being emotional and upset with how things were going for LSU. I don’t actually believe a lot of what I said. I’m here to eat crow too because he looked great last night and really has been solid all year and his whole career. Our issues are not with him.

Will Campbell will be fine. The whole team was underwhelming this year, it wasn’t just a single player but he’s been good and will be good. I take back what I said and admit I was being over reactionary, I didn’t believe all of what I was saying to begin with.

He was good last night. And it was good to see the whole line show some heart.

but they have a retarded statue playing qb who doesn’t know how to work a pocket at all and rolls out of clean pockets for sacks.

Its really amazing just how incredibly wrong this is. One of Nussmeier's best traits is his ability to navigate in the pocket. He also is amazingly accurate throwing on the run. On the downside, he is extremely hesitant to take the easy 5-10 yards he often has when he leaves the pocket. LSU had given up 6 sacks in nine games before the Florida game. But the dipshit above says he "rolls out of clean pockets for sacks." I suggest either actually watching the games or learn something about football. You could not be more wrong.

Having said that, I believe Campbell will be a really solid OT in the NFL. This idea that he can't run block is idiotic.

Will Campbell is not the guard or center. LSU's tackles are NOT the problem lol. The false starts are weird, but it's not a matter of blocking poorly.

dudes a stud, gets beat a few times in his whole career and people trash the kid. Every left tackle in college football has given up a sack at some point in there carrier. Its so overblown.
