You obviously take Graham but I'd understand the argument for McMillan

For me that is an easy question: Graham
When you have a premium pick (top 10), then you should focus on premium positions only (QB, OT, D line, CB, or WR). D line is harder to fill with premium players than WR (Saints know this through drafting experience).
This is a deep RB draft. Jehnty is great but their are lots of RB’s that you can win with.

Graham has issues. He is constantly out of position and can let regain the mistakes after he over pursues.
wut? "Constantly" out of position?
For reference, here are his PFF ratings over his career:
2022: 80.3
2023: 90.0
2024: 91.1

That looks good. Is that good?

In all fairness, here are Jeanty's ratings
89.5, 94.9, 94.9

Jeanty is very good. He could be a generational RB. If we had a lot more young talent I wouldn't be against picking him.
But you'll be year 3-4 into a short RB career before we are truly competitive, if at all.

Yeah there is no logic to picking him.
The last thing you want to do is pay big money to a RB and he won't be valuable for us until he'll cost that much.
I have no issues with him, generally, only for a team/roster/situation like us.

Exactly. By the time we are actually good (if we are), he is up for his contract. We do that for a QB but a RB?

Been saying for a few weeks, id take Graham then McMillian and if both are gone, trade down.

Agree if you can find a trade partner. Trade down and get some bulk (G from Bama or some D Line talent).

Plus there's always someone who falls that shouldn't some defensive tackles just slip. Aaron Donald, for example was like a mid first round pick.
I said this weeks ago on here. It wouldn’t suprise me if he slips because DT isn’t a money position.
Jalen Carter slipped out the top ten but that was mostly b/c of off the field issues.
With the Eagles success this year, it may keep Graham up high now.

One thing to consider is that pundits are tentatively calling this the deepest DT draft in a long time, probably the deepest position in this year's draft
So you will still be able to get good DTs in later rounds.
However this is considered one of the shallowest WR drafts.

I could honestly see McMillan having a Michael Thomas type impact and become WR1 instantly. Only thing is he doesn’t have Drew Brees throwing him the ball.

Don't think any of those guys will be there at 9 (maybe McMillan if he runs slow at the combine).
This'll be the group of players they'll probably have to choose from:
Mykel Williams - Edge
James Pearce Jr - Edge
Tyler Warren - TE
Will Johnson - CB
Malaki Starks - S
Kelvin Banks - T
Also, if the other DT at Michigan (Kenneth Grant) shows out at the combine, he could vault up the board and be an option for the Saints. A 340-lb NT that's an athletic freak and can do more than just clog up the middle.

McMillan-not sure he’s going to be special and may just be a good contested catch guy. Not really the player type I’d want with a top pick. Would much rather we trade back and get more of a twitchy guy or take our chances elsewhere.
Lots of draft guys thinking he'll be a late teens / early 20s type guy, not top 10. Weak WR draft at the top.

I'm not taking a rb or wr at 9 unless it's a Julio jones type guy.
It just doesn't make sense.

LOL. According to who?
This guy is not a generational DT.

If we were like the eagles and had talent everywhere, then yes I’d be all for picking him.
But we don’t so it makes zero sense to draft him.

He doesn’t seem like the same kind of route runner. Hard to be when you’re that tall.

Any world where you take a rb or wr over an elite level talent dt in Graham is absolutely insane. If a guy like Graham is there you run to the podium.
You’re taking Mykel, Graham, Walker over jeanty or McMillan who i just don’t see as being that special. Like said above, I’m not taking a wr in the top 10 unless they’re a generational talent and there isn’t a wr with generational talent this year.
