re: If Anthony Richardson plummets to #29, then do you want the Saints to take him?

These "MOCK" drafts are not done by GM's. They are done by journalists, some of which have agendas and connections with agents. Last year all the mock drafts had Malik Willis going top 10, some even #1 overall. I promise you he is not going top 10 based on potential. Any scout or GM is going to watch the game film not just highlights and see he was extremely inconsistent and needs a couple years of development before he sees the field. I also don't see anything remotely that reminds me of Lamar Jackson in his game.
I second all of this.
Also (not directed at you martiallaw), this gets posted by various people at least once a week now. It's a fricking message board where people voice opinions and we have open dialogues with other people's opinions. If we were to only discuss things not "determined" by GMs, Coaches, players... all we would have are Winston's what color are the endzone threads. And since the fans don't decide that, we probably shouldn't discuss those either.

If they don't grab Young, Stroud or Levis they are rolling with Ridder. They are probably rolling with Ridder regardless, but they are definitely not reaching on a "project QB" with their first round pick

If I were Baltimore, I'd trade jackson to Atlanta and draft AR. You get a rookie qb contract and at least another 1st on top of #8

I would consider not watching any games next year if we draft Richardson. I would be extremely depressed. Dude is legit terrible.

NFL teams aren't going to overthink it. Teams are desperate for quarterback play and he represents the highest upside after the first 3 taken. Best natural gifts in the draft. Teams saw what the Eagles were able to do with Jalen Hurts and will want to mold Richardson into the same thing, if not better.
The game has changed and teams now want the best athlete that they can teach the position. Statues in the pocket that have an the aptitude for the position will still fall in the draft while athletic projects will be taken early.

The many, many years of the saints being abysmal, but Richardson would be the straw that broke saint fans' backs? Why in the world would people not watch over drafting a player?

AR is nothing more than a taysom hill level QB. Big arm, big body, ability to run, but simply not an every down QB in the nfl because of his inaccuracy and inability to process defenses. Go turn on AR’s game tape at Florida and tell me that’s who you want running the team.. no chance

Guy, I've said twice already that I'd not be interested in Richardson. Read much?

I somewhat agree with this. Not every team will want to teach this because there are a lot still stuck in the traditional pocket passer camp (Pete is a prime example). There are also going to be many open to the idea, but would be willing to roll the dice on someone with so little experience?

I'm hoping that Jalen Carter scares off everyone and we get the best player in the draft at 29.
I'd rather a QB who knows how to throw to receivers.

Josh Allen sucked until he didn't.
You have to take him.
You have to take him.

No. He wasn’t even good in college.

Can someone please explain to me why he is high on draft boards?? Nothing about him is good. His stats are trash.

His intangibles are all you’re drafting. As far as a first or second round pick, he hasn’t proven he’s that guy. It’s all about what he may be able to become. You don’t waste a top round pick on someone so unproven. I wouldn’t touch him prior to the 5th round.

I wouldn't draft him at all. Dude is a physical freak but is terrible QB.

Ideal physical stature, exceptional athleticism for the position, strong arm, manipulates the pocket and avoids sack very well especially for a player with as limited reps as he has. Matt Miller was just on ESPN and said the coaches he talked to at the combine said he had the best interview of the QBs.
People keep talking about the unprecedented Josh Allen leap he'd have to take and ignore the even more recent Jalen Hurts leap. Richardson is tailor made to do all the same stuff Hurts does now.
He's no doubt got boom or bust potential but the amount of people that think taking an injured 25 yr old at 29 is a better idea than taking Richardson there is just plain crazy. But he's not gonna be there at 29 anyway.
